A slow Thursday |
|
it wasn’t that the Oilers played lousy last night, in fact they played good enough to force the 4th place Avs into a shoot out. So at least the Oilers got a point out of that. They play 6th place Calgary on Saturday and I’m watching that one. All the Oilers need to do is put 3 strait wins together and their right back in it.
Speaking about Oil it’s still sitting at $96 and some change as of Wednesday. This is really odd so far into November yet. Other then political unrest in Pakistan and other places there is really nothing that would cause the price of Oil to get so high. All seems quiet with Iran as well. Seems strange.
Right now I’m having my first coffee, trying to wake up. I’ve got the window opened for air. It looks nice out there under clear skies and the coffee is good.
Last night I worked on some more scenes. I’m almost done scene #69/80. 69 is a bit problematic. There are some issues that are confusing. I have a bout 4 scenes that are problematic and they need to be addressed before I go onto the 3rd rewrite. After this rewrite, I’m going to take away all labels and crap and just leave a space for a scene. I still have way too much dialogue lines and after I complete this rewrite, it’s back to reading the book again. I can make notes as I go along. There may be some interesting subplots along the way I haven’t thought up yet. Writing the rough draft is the easy part in all of this
Anne tells me at some point today Epcore is going to shut us down so they can restore power. Hopefully that won't be until we leave out of here until 4pm.
Anyway, that’s all for now

Again I slept in latter then I wanted to. Anne got up at 11am to go over to the Superstore (Our Big box outlet across the street) and did her thing. She got her cheque and the back pay hr place of employment had been promising her for some time now. Hopefully tonight I’ll get my cheque and the $30 in bonuses they own me for writing all those credit cards last week. If I don’t get them, then I’m going to rethink getting credit cards. I most likely won’t ask any more and this will be my last year working at Xl. I’ll be laboring hard to get something else. Preferably that security guard job.|
