Friday's

we went to bed at our regular time 3am listened to a bit of Coast. Good topic last night. UFO shoot downs with Stanton Friedman. I got up around 6:40am to do the cbi thing and went back to bed. I had a tough time getting back to sleep. The first hour was mostly resting trying to get comfortable. I think I got 7 hours all in all.

Today, I’m going into work with the rest of that Cw/Nt file and get my pay cheque and if I can get Rob ask about my vacation pay. Then settling in to do more PSA probably. OTH to start Monday? I did pretty good with OTH last year and made about $200 in bonuses. That’s because I had JT on my Team. I’m not expecting huge things this year what with the disclaimer and all. After work I’m going to get those 2 Honor “Harrington books” and this afternoon look for a trilogy to order and a anthology. Between SF/F there are enough trilogies to go by.

Also, there’s the Oiler Hockey game on as well this evening. So I think I’ll pick up the books first this afternoon and then go in to work. We’ll see. I need to scope out my dialer so I think that should be first and foremost. I might even get the books Saturday after work that way I’ve got more time to place an order.

I’m having my first coffee right now waking up. I’d prefer to order stand alone novels (san‘s) /anthologies but if there aren’t enough San’s that appeal to me then I’ll look for a trilogy or a series and the anthologies. I love reading short fiction if the subject is something I enjoy. I don’t like Cyberpunk or Historical SF/F or Young Adult. Historical SF/F in this writer’s opinion is just plain silly and Cyberpunk is just to hard to read and the characters are too over the top. I like SF/F crossovers and Hard SF and of course Space Opera.

Anyway, that’s all for now

e. Jim
