it was kind of nice going in there this afternoon. The trees were are all covered in a white fog like snow. Very pretty. Hey, everyone on my team got our $50 OTH bonus? Great. I should get mine then. OTH Were doing OTH? Good, then that means the contest is on. It’s not on but we’re burning up our source to do it? Maybe the credit cards will count? No? WTF? In the 2nd half guess what? No $50 bonus on my cheque. I was pretty upset. So I photocopied my cheque and Moe slid it under Robs door. John this morning said Rob read aloud the names that were to have the bonus on their this cheque including mine. So Moe went into Robs office or the last thing he does on his way home. He even got short 4 hours on his cheque and he’s “Management.” The thing is, Rob’s just going to apply that to my next cheque, which will have my Christmas stat pay, which means the Feds will take more off me for taxes. That $50 bonus will be more like $40. Thanks for nothing Rob. That is if he corrects it. If he doesn’t then I’ll take a day off and not feel bad about it. If he does this the next time we win, then I’m not getting involved anymore. Or I’ll be doing this half heartedly.

Not only that but it took the wind out of my sails tonight. We do the campaign but we’re not playing the game? Using up all of our source? This really burns me up as well.

So I went and began listening to the Oiler game. The Oilers held the Ducks off to tied at 1 in the 2nd period. Another shoot out? This was the last of the Oilers/Ducks series. I think 4 games this year.

I rode home with a couple of the East Indian fellows. One living not to far away from me was saying that Future Shop has Ram for $20 for 1 Gb? This I got to see. If it’s compatible that is. Anyway, it’s been a dismal evening back to work.

Anne was at the Medi centre this evening getting something for her throat and a Doctors note for work.

I decided to abandon the idea of learning that Dust in the Wind song. It’s too advanced from where I am. I know two songs and they are not even complete yet. Right now I’m just learning left hand staccato exercises.

Also, I found out more about this “National Do not call list” for Telemarketers. Certain organizations are exempt from the list. They include charities, political parties, opinion-polling firms, newspapers and organizations that have an existing relationship with the customer. We raise funds for charities so we’re exempt from the “list” as I’ll call it. My wife is exempt because she’s doing survey’s/market research. Our company that sells tickets for events is a grey area but there is a charity behind it. I think Xl is exempt from this as well which is good news. However it may not be good for Cw but Cw also offers calendars which when the customer picks a calendar they pick the charity and the money goes to the charity. So I think Cw is ok. What they are concerned with are call centers that are trying to sell them a product. Most of the call centers these days are either charity based or market research. I’m not worried about it.

The only thing I’m worried about is our rent going up, and I think we’ll get the increase next week. So next week right after New Years day, my first day back to work is the day I get my portion of the form into Rob to sign. So as soon as we get that in and a rental increase then we get everything together submit it in and hopefully we get the subsidy before April first.
