Feeling better |
|
I still feel some of the affects of this flu but I think by Monday I should feel well enough to go back into work. At least I have my appetite back. I ate a fried egg sandwich and a bowl of soup Anne made for me around midnight. Oh and an update on Coast tonight. Ian is on. Yea. Oh and Nashville lost tonight. Wu Who. This was from last night:
Just fixed myself a cup of coffee. First coffee I’ve had since Wednesday and it’s good. When I get back to feeling better I’m going to tackle the character sheets for HT. I want to be ready to write this thing March 1st.
As I’m writing HT I’m reading F and putting the finishing touches on that. I want F out the door by labor day weekend.
I’m beginning to feel a lot better. I’m looking forward to the Oiler/Flames game tomorrow night. Sunday night Oiler games. I love ‘em. The Oiler’s are chasing Nashville and they play Monday night against Chicago. The Oiler’s really need to win this game.
Tonight on Coast Marriam Delicado will tell us how she has been in contact with Tall Blond ET beings. She will discuss their message for the world and how it ties in with Hopi Prophecy and the End Times. Why do ET beings have to be Tall and Blond all the time? Why can’t ET resemble 50 something fat guys with no teeth? I suppose Tall and Blond sells. Hopefully Ian will be on. I don’t mind R. James but Ian is better. Here are some upcoming shows. Topics: Sunday night: Oberon Zell Mythical Creatures Monday: TBA Tuesday night: Amelia Kinkade Pet Communication. Wednesday: James Mullaney -Cayce & Cosmos- Thursday: Brad Steiger -Ancient Contact- Friday: Open lines. Looks like a pretty good week. Wednesday nights show about Cayce & Cosmos, sounds like the best of the bunch. But we won’t know what’s on Tuesday.
Robert J Sawyer: Talks about his Arisia programming schedule (wish I could be there)
Keith Graham: Is considering attending a SF writers workshop mainly to meet other SF writers.
J Alan Erwine: Reminds us about World Con in Denver and Sam Dot publishing etc to get on the Hugo Balloting. I hope they’re successful.
Neal Asher is MIA
Dial B for Blog: This entry loads slow because of all the artwork but there’s a cute Superboy cover.
Elizabeth Bear: Is restless and bored. With her workload? Hey cut her some slack people. It’s a great blog from a great SF writer.
Chris Robinson: Still talking about icing
Jeffrey Ford: Is talking about Shadowbridge
Marjorie M. Liu: Is still in Chicago waiting to board the plane.
C.E. Murphy: Talks about buying books and her 2 mile hike. 2 miles? I’d be lucky if I can walk the end of the block and back.
Scott Westefield: Is talking politics. Hillary or Obama? Won’t happen folks. A Republican will get elected to keep the momentum going in Iraq. Personally I’d love to see the Dem’s in.
Nick Sagan: Is talking about Idelwild.
Sarah Monette: Talking about Due South, again.
Will Sheterly: Talking about politics.
Gizmodo: Is talking about Skullcandy Headphones that utilizes an SD media card. I want one of these. It needs an attached screen that can search songs.
In Pocket full of words Holy Lisle is talking to cats.
Dragon my tale: Is talking about music
SF Signal: Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures want to bring E.E. Doc Smith’s Lensman to big screen. We can only hope.
Charles Stross: Is talking about cell phones.
Marianne de Pierres: Is reading The Universe.
L.E. Modesitte jr. Is talking about Character-Driven or Plot-Driven? I enjoyed reading this.
Orson Scott Card does this great SF author even have a Blog?
Dennis Hurd: Is going on a Mexican Cruise.
And finally.. Steve Perry talks about action and reaction
Anyway, that's about all for now
