A Saturday wrap |

I was reading from a link from a blog this morning that said, “All writing is rewriting.” Steal from one writer it’s called plagiarism steal from hundreds of writers it’s called research. This revelation spoke from the premise that every story every plot has been done to death a thousand times. So what I need to do is find a lot of books that are similar to mine and do the opposite. Thing is, my book is unique. The story is unlike nothing ever told. It’s a totally new premise. How do I go from there?
Alright, I went into work and took a few outdoor shots before my bus came along. I got the back corner dialer and had J sit with me. He’s quiet. I got 2 credit cards. It was a quiet shift today. Xl’s got a Sunday shift. That’s time and a half for 4 hours. The thing is as soon as I start one shift, they’ll expect it from me. If it wasn’t for the hockey game on at noon tomorrow, I’d be half tempted to go in. We got out half an hour early and I got a nice quiet ride home on the train.
I had an accident with my bag earlier when my thermos exploded. Fortunately the camera I took into work is fine and was in another part of the bag. So I have a couple of pics to post. One from this morning and the other of a couple of days ago of Silky the dark gray and Sporty the salt and pepper color cat.
On Coast this morning: Norm Kimball on ancient manuscripts. Should be a good one. Sunday night on Billy Meier contacts. A couple of good shows over night.
I tried to nap when I came home from work. I think I got about an hour but I’m not feeling to bad. Maybe time for a decafe.
Anne made us a nice chicken breast and she’s getting ready to watch a movie at 8pm.
I’m going to do some more work on HT tonight. Tomorrow I’ve got the Oiler hockey game on at noon. I’m anticipating another Oiler loss on the road. Atlanta isn’t playing tonight. Their L10 is 3-6-1. I think this is a win for Atlanta. I’d put money on it.
Anyway, that’s all for now.
