I took my camera out here for a couple of shots in the few minutes I had before my bus came by. It was 4:05pm when I took these. I was hoping to get a photo of the school bus that occupies my bus stop at 4pm almost everyday. These shots are a bit on the Dark(imitates Darth Vader)Side of the afternoon. It’s usually about 10% lighter then it shows in these shots. The first one is for Keith because he was talking about the term O-Rama yesterday. That’s our Dollar-rama store across the street. This is looking North. 

Here’s another shot of where I would have walked and where the bus was right beside where I was taking this shot. I’ll try and put some of these in order for my Wednesday Blog entry. Notice the snow squals.

Ok, I got into work, no problem. I cleared off a dialer because there was crap all over it. I didn’t know who was sitting there durring the afternoon shift until 3 minutes before the shift. Will comes up and gives a WTF look are you doing in my space. “Well for starters Will, your out of here 7pm, I’m here for the full shift and I was working here last night,” I didn’t say that to him of course but he got the idea. I think. Mainly he wanted to hit on the little chickadee that was on the other side of the station. In this photo I'm facing East at my bus stop.

Anne made me a nice steakete/hot hamburger sandwich and fries for my lunch. I’ve got a sleepy time tea I’m working on and I’ll be in bed by 2:30am. This photo is of my stop looking West. See the dirty side of the street to my left? The bus was cutting off this area as my ETS bus was coming up from behind.

I’m having some trouble with my Adsense account. Markus went to check into it with the tools I gave him. This is what Adsense said in their reply back:

Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated
with an unapproved application. For more information about your
application, please review the message we sent to the email address
you provided with your application.

The thing is I already have an existing ad up and running. How can I have an ad up an running if I don’t have an active account? Strange. So far according to my stats I’ve gotten something like 614 page loads already this month and an average of 77 views/day. In other words, I’m losing money. Not that I’m going to make it rich with AdSense or anything but if I can generate enough revenue to pay for my website every year then AdSense is a viable option. Something I’m going to have to look into. Markus is helping me out with this.

I think why my account is closed is because all of the changes I’m doing on my website. AdSense wants a finished product.

Well the big news by now, mostly everyone has heard is that Daryl Katz is the new owner of the Edmonton Oiler’s. Pockington sold the Oiler’s in 1998 to the Edmonton Investors Group. It makes more sense to have one owner. I still haven’t really heard how Katz is committed to keeping the team here. I think there are some clauses in the transaction that prevents Katz from selling the Oiler’s and moving them to another City. Some crucial games coming up. Chicago plays the Oiler’s here tonight and the Oiler’s go down to Calgary for the grudge match.

I had a pretty nice day Tuesday. I even got a call from Audrey’s books saying one of my book orders is in: “Writers of The Future”. I have “Seeds of Time” there and WOTF waiting for me. Plus the two books I ordered already from last weekend. That’s my 4 books for February.
