Update: I did a quick editing job on the last blog entry.

I woke up about 6am to do the cbi thing, had my waffles and climbed back into bed. I slept fairly well and even though I had a headache I woke up to find Anne gone. Oh, I forgot she needed to go to the bank to cash my cheque and get my allowance.

Not much going on for today. It’s into work for my 3 hours and maybe over to Audrey’s and see if they have a book for me. “The New Space Opera” is getting better and picking up. It got slow in the first half but the 2nd half, the stories seem to be a bit more engaging. I’m enjoying this story by Mary Rosenblum. Hey, she’s the same age as me. Her first story: Synthesis was published in 1992. She writes science fiction and mysteries.

Wow. Right now we’ve got +6C out there thanks to those nice warm Chinook winds. It’s about time we get some nice weather. The only problem with this weather is it makes everything turn to slush. During the morning commute we got hit with freezing rain. Should be ok now though.

I decided to sign up for Holly Lisle’s affiliate program as a way to make some extra cash from my website. Seems her site isn’t recognizing my login particulars. So I emailed her a tech support question. Maybe I haven’t had the login’s verified yet. Sometimes it takes a few days to get that organized.

Even though because it’s Friday and we get off earlier I still don’t get home until 9:15pm or so. Well, better then 9:45pm I suppose, so there’s my half hour. I’d rather just work until 9pm. By the time everyone’s out of the office and needs to do anything the stores are closing. Forget about the bars because, well we have to come back Saturday morning. I’d just as soon work the extra half hour.
