Sunday afternoon
Coast wasn’t such a bad show after all. The shows topic basically says that various factors contributing to the steady decline of performance, ambition, and fertility in America's boys and young men. The main culprit being video games. Men are becoming child men he basically said. The guest makes sense. Look how many men play video games or are on the computer. Look at Charles playing D&D and he’s almost 60. I’m no better with my interest of science fiction and fantasy. I’d love to be part of Charles Saturday night gaming crowd myself. To the guest of last nights Coast, this is a different age then it was say in the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s. These are hobbies men have. We as men of all ages still have responsibilities. I’ve always been a science fiction fan, always will. To me it’s all about striking a balance. So then last nights Coast show was pretty decent after all.

I don’t know what I’m going to do with this Stephan Baxter story in “The New Space Opera.” I think I might just move on and see what the next story has o offer. This story is pretty lame. I hate to pass this story over but God it’s boring. Sorry Steve.

I got up just after 7am and did the cbi thing and went back to bed. I got up a few times to use the bathroom and woke up here and there because of the cats needing attention or what ever. They became active mainly from about 11am-1:45pm when I got up. I had a good 10.5 hours of sleep though and I needed it.

Pretty soon Anne’s going to get up and we’re going to have our Sunday late brunch. Brunch should be served around 11am-1pm not at 3pm in the afternoon. But it is our mid Sunday meal. Same thing every Sunday. 3 sausages, 2 eggs, toast shredded hash browns orange juice and coffee. Anne’s breakfasts are always outstanding. But after that, it’s hard at work on H.

My daily journal/blog in MS Works is now sitting at 650 pages. Wow. I’m going to save this on my SD media card for back up. There’s a lot I don’t share about my life here. I still consider myself to be a private person. But still, 650 pages is a lot of pages. At the end of this month, I’ll start a new diary.

Weather wise at this hour; 3pm we’re sitting at -0C/-4C wind chill. Not bad. I’m not going out in it because the sidewalks are still pretty icy out there but once the sidewalks are clear, I‘m going to go outside every weekend.

I’m leaving the computer on during brunch. No sense turning it off for the 20 minutes that I’m eating brunch. Min Ram in this machine makes this computer slow as hell to boot up taking almost 20 minutes-half an hour.

After brunch I’m going to get right into H. I’ll have about 4 hours until “Knight Rider.” That’s going to be a 2 hour break and then other then dinner, I can work on it from then until I go to bed. So this could be the last entry for the day. About midnight I’ll post an after action report on knight Rider and H, maybe even some thoughts on “No way out.”

Anyway, that’s all for now

e. Jim
