I had a good ride going into work reading from “The New Space Opera.” I’m reading Walter Jon Williams “Send them flowers.” I’ve got another 17 pages to go. These are big stories. I’ve got 2 more stories after this and I’m done with the book. That’s it for anthologies for awhile.

Speaking of short stories, I’ve got the link working now to “Zombies of Sleep.” I published this story with Static Movement. I’ve got Crosshairs my story Keith published in his Speculations. He said I can submit it to Static Movement and I’m going to do that this summer.

Anyway, I got settled into work. It was really slow going doing AES. I think I got $170. I got a call from Anne as our break was concluding. Then we did CCSD in the 2nd half and I got about the same for a total of $345. Nothing stellar but these two campaigns have been beaten up a lot. Moe’s taking totals off the screen so Rob can get as much mileage out of us as possible. I let Moe know I’d be at the Lodge Thursday night but we’re going out for a beer Saturday. I was glad to get out of there.

So I’m off today, yea. At 5:20pm I’m calling Neil for a ride into Lodge. Hopefully. Hopefully we won’t a degree night and that it will be just a regular business meeting. I’m hoping. There’s also an Oiler game on as well and it should all be over by the time I get home out of Lodge. In the 15 games the Oiler’s have left, they are not getting any help from out of town.

I got home early enough reading about 6 pages of the story on the train. I got a seat by myself and I was happy about that. I like going home with nights like that.

I got home and fired up my computer and put the piano on. Charles was at his bowling night. I’d love to do that as well. I love bowling but I haven’t lifted a ball since the 1970’s. I miss that.

If I’m going to get any writing done today, it’s going to be before Lodge. Anne had mentioned something about Pizza hiring. They are always hiring. The only problem about Pizza is it’s an inbound call center and you’ve got a specific amount of time to get an order in and it’s non stop calls. I wouldn’t mind maybe 3 days/week. I could look into it and now that I’ve got a cell phone if I go in and fill out the application they can call me on my cell and leave a message.

I went to read Neal Asher’s Blog earlier and he’s got 3 interesting YouTube videos on AGW on Solar activity and climate change. More and more climatetologists are beginning to realize that CO2 does not drive climate change. AGW is mostly about being political then anything else. If your into this sort of thing like I am. Check it out in the links menu at left.

Also, I found a better tutorial on learning to play Star Wars on the piano and this version is a lot better. It’s still the first part. I have the other part somewhere else and I’ll be practicing that over the next little while.

Hopefully I’ll get a good nights sleep. I took a gravel pill and a cup of sleep time tea. If that doesn’t put me out I don’t know what will. So far I’ve had no chest pains this evening. I’m not vomiting or feeling nausea. I have no numbness in my hands or feet. I think maybe what I had was a stroke. But I don’t feel a loss of anything either.

On Coast right now they are talking about Out of Body experiences or OBE’s. This is another lame topic. But this pill is taking it’s toll on me and I think it’s time to post this.

Anne drew my attention to Buck Rogers in the 23rd Century with Gil Gerard, which is on right now and is a 1979 classic. Well, I enjoyed the series when it was on.
