It's Friday and from last night.

Hey, no game on Thursday night. Anne made me a nice pierogi and sausage supper at 5:00pm I called Neil and he picked me up picked me up at 7pm for the Lodge. We did the balloting and gave one of the older members a lifetime membership. He bought everyone a round at the festive board. And the festive board itself was on the house tonight. WM asked me if I’d do the FC WT. “No problem.” I said. Right on. Pizza and beer! Wuu Who. Neil and I were out of there at about 9:45pm I was home shortly after 10pm. For lunch I had some keish tarts and a bowl of cream of potato soup.

Anne and I watched Much Music’s Top 10 countdown. Kalan Porter the Canadian idol kid from Lethbridge had 2 hits within the Top 10 and Britney Spears is at #2. I actually liked that song: “You want a piece of me.” Most of the Top 10 were women artists. I don’t have anything against women artists but all of them sounded and looked the same to me. Other then Britney of course. Britney is the best thing to come out of the female vocalist camp since Debra Harry of Blondie. I like Britney and Kalan.

So COH I’ve got $39.75 and I didn’t even have to break that $20 for the festive board. That means if the Science Fiction book “Horizons” is there, I’ll pick it up after work.

I’m still getting pain in my shoulder but so far the chest pain has abated since I stopped taking that Tylenol.

This is too weird. In my last entry I mentioned about Buck Rogers 1979. Over at SF Signal as if they are reading my blog, posted a couple of YouTube’s on the topic. Strange.

I once said I wouldn’t get to political on this site but I can’t help it. There are a couple of scandals going on over there in Harper land. Our PM. The first one is about how one of Harpers subordinates offered (independently of Harper’s knowledge) a bribe. A life insurance police to a dying man if he would sway his decision to elect the minority Harper Government into office. Well, Chuck Cadman gave his approval to the Harper camp. Cadman was the deciding vote that got Harper elected. Now the Liberals are saying that some of Harpers aides offered Cadman a bribe. Cadman’s wife said no such thing happened. Both Liberals and Harpers Government are looking into the issue. The other scandal is more International about Obama saying how he would abolish NAFTA but said to the Canadian embassy not to worry. Obama is taking some heat over this and I think it’s going to be the nail in his coffin.

Also, Oil is up $105 and change now. Yikes. With all the trouble in the Middle East it seems anytime a suicide bomber hiccups Oil goes up. Still $105/barrel. Yikes.

Another thing that interests me is how a private collector is putting up for auction Jack Ruby’s pistol. The one he shot Oswald with. Apparently it’s supposed to go for 1 million dollars or something. Ruby paid something like $62 in 1963!

Tonight (Thursday) on Coast: 'Cryptohunter' John Rhodes will discuss the recent Lizard-Man sightings, as well as reveal possible connections between MRSA and animal mutilations. Some good shows coming up on Coast this week.

So, today it’s off into work and after the job. The Oiler’s are in Columbus tonight. I’ll be watching for that. I’ll go over to Audrey’s and get my book/s. Maybe I’ll get 2 while our dollar is on par with the US. Then I’ll come home and watch some wrestling, the news and ECW. All in all, I had a great night last night.

    Anyway, that’s all for now

    e. Jim
