Easter Monday for me.

I had a nice day off yesterday and Anne talked me into having another one off for Monday but I want to go in 1:30pm and work that way all week. This way I get 32.5 hours in.

Last night about midnight Anne dragged me off over to Walmart to take a look at this Sanyo 50” HD TV. I was a bit put off by it at first. It’s not 1080P. But that doesn’t matter. At least when I got home and did some more research on 1080P. 1080P, yes enhances pixel resolution quite a lot but the current standard is still 720P. I think with an HDMI cable 720P will make 720P into 1080I. Most PS3 games are still 720. I was surprised they had a lot of shoppers there for that time of night on a Saturday night and a lot of bare shelves. Just after the East weekend, no kidding.

Sunday I read a lot from J’s book and past the half way mark. I’ll have it read by the end of this week. The best story in “Seedlings” is “The limit of Tolerance.” It’s kind of Star Trekish in a way but good. I really liked this story. The only problem I have with J’s characters is they laugh too damn much. In just about every story there’s some reference to laughter. Takahashi is the name of a character he used in 2 stories, in the same book yet! Another case for test readers. On a scale of 1-10 (and I’m no expert) so far I’d rate this book a 6.5. The full “review” will come out probably on the weekend.

This morning I’ll be doing some more work on H and a short story I’m in the process of creating. I won’t talk too much about it until it’s done. Then I’m going to shop it around in the mail.

Mostly yesterday afternoon, I’ve been reading, doing some HTML research, reading, brunch, JFK research, reading that sort of thing. I had a good time doing it. I sighed up to the JFK lancer forum and made my first post. So, this morning, it’s writing this afternoon Anne and I are going to go over to Fs to see their 1080P HD TV’s and get an experts 2nd opinion. Then it’s the Wild @ Edmonton game. After that it’s Monday night Raw. So tomorrow’s going to be a full day.

Also, I discovered something about my battery, recharger: I don’t need to have it charged up for 8 hours until the green light goes off or turns red. Just a couple of hours and that’s all the batteries need. Which is why I was able to take this shot of out new netting Anne put up. This was take out there at 7pm last night. Because of the netting it looks a bit darker then it actually is. After writing, hockey and wrestling, all in one shot. What could be better?

Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now.
