Well, that was Wrestlemania 24. Awesome. It began at 5pm as Anne was cooking my rib-dinner. The money in the bank match was excellent and so was the career ending match between Sean Michael’s and Ric Flair. Poor Ric. Then there was the Triple threat match. Randy Orton retains the title. That was an awesome match in itself. Then there was the Diva Bunny match Wu Who! Then the Undertaker and Edge. Undertakers streak continues and he wins the Heavy weight championship title. Not to mention the match for the ECW title. Kane the winner. In record time. On a scale from 1-10 I’d rate this Wrestlemania a solid 9. The best (imo)Wrestlemania 18 was at the Sky dome in Toronto. Though last year WWE broke attendance records of over 85,000. This year in the Citrus bowel in Orlando Florida the attendance was 74,600 something. Baby back ribs, Wrestlemania 24, I had a pretty good time. I even had a beer to go along with the evening.
This weekend has been a pretty good weekend. I had a decent total Friday and Saturday I went out took a few photographs and got my Tim’s breakfast sandwich and large Roll up coffee. Didn’t win. I had a great shift as well pulling in almost $800 and a couple of credit card sales. Then I went to get my 2 books at Audrey’s and asked if they had any books on piano playing but no though they did recommend Gordon Price music. I’d remember that. Then home for a bit of a nap and watched the Oiler’s take apart Calgary to keep the Oiler’s playoff hopes alive. I had a decent sleep overnight, although I could have slept longer. I did some website stuff and some assassination research on you know who. Also I did a search for Edmonton pianos and came across Giovanni music. They’ve been in West Edmonton Mall since the mall opened and apparently give piano lessons. So I’m going to look into this and find out how much their rates are.
My wife and I are up early in the morning to go do our taxes at the public library. They used to have the service in Canada Place but the Federal Government sold the building last year and I guess the current owners didn’t want the tax service there. You’ve got to go get a ticket and wait for your number. We’re up at 6:30am and out of here to get there by 7am so we can get a number. Anne's going to head over to McDonalds for our breakfast. We need the taxes filed for the letter of assessment that Alberta Health and Wellness needs so we can claim our health care subsidy before Health Care begins to deduct from my cheque. So far over the last 3-4 years we’ve been filling our taxes consistently enough to void the health care deductions off my cheque. I hope we can get our taxes filed electronically and off to Winnipeg and back by April 30th. Then it’s into Alberta Health and Wellness (AHW) and file for the subsidy. I think it’s $30,000 for family. So once we get the taxes done tomorrow, we might get out of there and home by noon. Maybe I can get some writing in as well or have a nap.
Otherwise I doubt I’ll blog anything until after midnight. So for now, here’s a cute cat picture I took a few hours ago of Silky. He's got a runny eye.
Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now.
