I had a long wait for my bus out there in the bus shelter at about 12:30pm. I bought a medium size coffee at the Redi Mart and had a brief wait on the train. It looked like a winter day out there. I was downtown at the Telus building and had a number serving 21/28 at AHC. This was about 2:05pm. I got a few cancellations ahead of me. I was called and I got the subsidy form all done up and checked out. We’re good to go. I didn’t bring a lot of cash with me. Just a couple of bucks but I wanted to explore the food court there in the basement. They’ve got about half a dozen kiosks including a Taco Time, which I would have eaten at if I’d only have known. Next time. I bought a diet Coke and waited for my train at Central-home. Ten minutes later I was in Clairview and on the way home. I swear to God there must have been snow drifts up to my knees out there.

I felt good getting that done. Tomorrow I’m in the office for the afternoon/evening shift, Monday/Friday, which is why bloging might be a bit spotty this week.

I was reading the daily Metro left behind on the train home and apparently we had a comic book convention here at the Shaw Conference Centre. Lots of people dressed up in Star Trek gear and Star Wars characters with Light Sabers. And if that’s not enough, there’s Pure Speculation in October.

Prior to when I left I watched a YouTube trailer for the new Batman movie: “Dark Knight” and one for the new Indiana Jones movie coming out. Both movies are on my movies to see this summer. Not too mention Iron Man. Of course, long term is the proposed Star Wars live action TV series. Drool.

This evening Anne is seeing her Doctor at the medi center and I’m left holding down the fort.
