Anne made me a grill cheese and fries to go along with my Habs hosting the Bruins game. I’m glad the Habs won. The Caps won as well extending their series to a game 7. I like that. This afternoon, I’m going into work at my usual time. After the game I watched the extended 3 hour enhanced Raw. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate this at a 7. It was okay. The Diva’s were the best part about the show. Anne came in about 10pm wanting to aid a stray cat that was outside. Personally I would have rather we take him in but Anne wouldn’t like that and neither would the other cats.
On Entertainment tonight (Anne and I watch this together) they had Harrison Ford talk about his new Indiana Jones movie. I think it’s going to be released May 22nd. There was also a bit about the “Deal or no deal” show and their models dressing up like Princes Lea. Good stuff
Howie and President Bush via Satellite? Does GWB even know Howie is Canadian? I don’t like Bush’s politics but (just from what I see) I like the man as an individual in a sad comic kind of way. As for the new Indie movie and the rest, we’ll most likely catch that and the others at the Clairview 12 dollar theater in September.
Over the past couple of months, I’ve been trying to get a list of all the Forgotten Realms book covers. Another reason why I like the “Fantastic Fiction” website as they break books down by series. All 266+ novels. More then I could ever read in my lifetime. But my reading speed is picking up lately. I also began collecting the Star Trek TOS books, after all of the making’s of and behind the scenes books. Book one began with the “Entropy effect” by Vonda N McIntyre but for some reason I stopped collecting them. I need to reclaim them as I consider myself a huge Trek fan. But I’m more Star Wars then Trek. Sorry Gene. To get all of the Star Wars books, (outside of the YA one) would also take a lot of time and effort as well. The first Star Wars book I had was the one by Alan Dean Foster: Splinter of the Mind's Eye (1978) “The Jedi apprentice” and the “Young Jedi knights” series, is Young Adult. So much for that series.
So it's it's back to work for today. That's all for now. Weather update: Since Saturday afternoon, we have received roughly 30 cm of snow. That's 12 inches and it's still coming down. In all the 28 years since I've been living here, I have never seen weather like this for this time of year. Usually we get the odd freak snow storm, once every 2-3 years or so but nothing like this. Our usual temperature is +14-20C. I've got camera batteries charging and I'll take a photo around 4pm. By the end of this month, all this snow will be gone.
Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now
