No telling what's going on these days

I left out of here feeling pretty good. I locked the place up making sure everything was shut down. I didn’t read on my way to work this afternoon. I just wanted to relax and get on with the day. I got Fran’s dialer left vacant for me but Moe moved me over to the other side because the calls were coming in so slow. I checked the credit card bonus sheet and I’m getting $36 in bonuses coming up this week, Good stuff. We did Baseball Bonanza. Uggh. I didn’t do to badly on it and much to my surprise I even got a credit card sale. Anne called me at break and we had a chat. When we moved over to the other side of the isle Moe put us onto CPA and I did a lot better pulling in about a couple of $100 sales and 4 credit cards. $10 in one shift as bonuses and Moe gave me a $5 bonus for reaching over $500. And these were all on semies yet. I ended up with $580 and $15 in bonuses. Not a bad way to kick off the week.

I felt pretty good leaving out of there at 9pm and I rushed to get to Corona station. I met Jay, one of the East Indian guys that said hello. He quit Xl a few months ago and we had a chat all the way to Clairview. He Didn’t want to give out any info about his job suffice he told me he worked 10 hours today.

I got home and everything was as I left it. Anne called said she’s making me a beef dip and fries for lunch when she comes back from Superstore. Aha.

Raw was pretty good tonight. On a scale of 1-10 I’d rate it an 8. It was really good tonight. Anne started lunch late but it was good and I’ve got a sleepy time tea I’m working on.

Checking on the Hab’s/Flyers outcome, the Flyers won (like that’s no surprise) 3-2 (home ice.) Not very many teams win if their not at home ice. Especially in the playoffs.

The folks at SF Signal give an in depth review of The Solaris Book of New Science Fiction, Volume 2 edited by George Mann. I’ve got the last one and although I haven’t read it yet, it’s on my read list for this year. The reviewer gives the book all kinds of praises and accolades yet rates this latest anthology 3 stars out of 5. I have to wonder why give the book such a mediocre score when the reviewer enjoyed the book so much?

Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now
