Tired but ok tonight |
|
I went to bed right after ECW last night but had difficulty sleeping all night. I got up about 3am to do some work on the Internet. I went back to bed about 5am and I couldn’t sleep at all. I think the 3 cups of coffee during the day had something to do with it. I barely left out of the house at 9am feeling drained but no worse for wear. We ended up bouncing around with DIH, COP, ASRAB all day. Anne called from the bank saying that head office was close so she couldn’t get the funds out today. Just as well. I ended up with $565 on the day. No credit card sales at all today. No bonuses. That’s 11 credit cards if they all kick in and $10 in bonus money. I should end up with $32 this week.
Anne found those forms that Consumer gave her around the end of January but the only problem with them the 2 I want to apply at mostly are by email only. Anne’s going to show me how to do this as I’ve never approached an employer this way before and I don’t have a resume since I’ve held only one job over the last 8 years. I like Stats Canada, and Telus. Both of these are going to be a real departure from my current job. But I’m going to try them out part time for a while. See if I can work afternoons.
I met Anne at the bus stop just outside here and had a brief chat with her. I went in and even though I wanted to go have a much needed nap, I wanted to watch “Hyperspace.” It’s kind of like a news sci-fi show. Those new Iron Man toys look pretty cool. There was even a Stan Lee cameo on the Hyperspace show as well. And if that wasn‘t enough Space had “Enigma” It’s kind of like a documentary, featuring a biography of HP Blatvasky, from the Theosophical Society. This was really informative because it basically filled some gaps of missing information I hadn’t had on her. Enigma is a Biography Channel TV series about the paranormal. Good stuff. Immediately after that, there was the Habs hosting the Flyers. I watched that for 3 hours. What a game. Sadly the Habs lost. There’s no more Canadian team in the playoffs. Thanks to Garry Bettman, we have a team in Nashville 2 teams in Florida. We’re so lucky. We got to have team sin SJ and Anaheim. Heaven’s should we have a team in Hamilton or even gasp, Winnipeg. Canadian teams are little more then client teams for the NHL and that’s why we’ll never see a Canadian team win the Cup again. Got to sell hockey to Nashville. Really makes me mad. Who’s left? Detroit, Pittsburg, Dallas, SJ, Philadelphia, New York Rangers, Yeah sounds really exciting. Not! The only reason why I’m watching now is because I have money on Detroit in our hockey pool. Too bad about Montreal getting booted out of the playoffs, they finished #1 in the league.
Anne went out at my suggestion to go get us some Chinese food. Man was it good. Good food great hockey game.
So anyway, this is where I am now. I’m dead tired and I could use a good 8 hours of sleep but I’ve got some other thins to so as well tonight.
Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now
