working out the week

Not much going on yesterday I read a lot out of Ps. Anne went and got me a couple of A&W teen burgers at the Petro Can down the street. It was really nice going in even though it was overcast. I went into work for my 4 hours. I was able to book a service call to get the tech guy over to upgrade out HD terminal. We’ve got $307.65 set aside for that and they will be here next Wednesday afternoon. Also I was able to call Audrey’s and I’ve got several anthologies on order and 1-3 of Ben Bova’s “Asteroid wars” series. They’re looking into ordering “The Bard’s tale” books for me but I don’t think they are in print anymore. The evening was really productive. Moe bounced us around several different campaigns and I ended up with a credit card sale and $375 at the end of the shift. I also got a chance to read a lot on my dialer as well. Also, I was able to get the train right on time. Not bad.

I was glad to get out of there and a nice relaxing train ride home. Anne was in abut 40 minutes ahead of me and she made her Perogies for lunch. We watched the news and Entertainment Tonight. This basically brings me to where I am right now.

On Coast tonight: Walter L. Wagner CERN Safety, Should be a good one. They don’t have anything listed for the weekend.

I’m currently working on a logo project for my website using Gimp. This is a powerful piece of open source software. It’s just like Photoshop although some will argue with me about that. Also there are lots of Gimp tutorials on YouTube as well. I’m trying to get rid of my current logo, which looks ugly.

Maybe I’ll get a poll up and running and display 4 logo examples to vote on but this won’t be until about the fall.

Tonight it’s into the job and a 4 hour shift and pick up my pay cheque. Also, it’s game 1 of the Detroit/Stars series. Should be a classic. I’ve got $70 bucks up for grabs.

Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now

e. Jim
