Going into work was really nice. A good turnout of riders on the train this morning under beautiful sunny skies. I certainly didn’t need a jacket this morning. By the time train got to Central station I realized I forgot my insulin at home. Missing one injection/2 won’t affect my bsl by too much. By the time the shift rolled around we had 10 tap shooters and the front 20 was all full up. I had a slow start to the day. I got a couple of credit card sales before the noon break and 3 for the shift for a total of 10 this week.

At the break I called Giovanni music and asked about the upright acoustic piano. They want $6,500. Yikes. They also have some of the HL piano books as well for around $20. So does Mothers but they’re just down the street and around the corner from Audrey’s. So next weekend I’m going to get one of them next weekend. I had the money this weekend but I didn’t know Anne was going to give me another $20 bucks last night. I have COH $19.00. $5 of that will be gone by the end of the week, add the $20 I’ll be getting with that and I should have enough for the HL book and one of the Ben Bova books. If they all kick in that’s $20 next week. I ended up with $360. Bud had about $100 more then me. The sales weren’t stellar by any means.

I was so glad to get out of there that I peeled out of there in a hurry and very little waiting for my train to Clairview. I almost passed out on the train. There was the #11 about to take off out of there as it was just a bit after 2pm. +25C. When I got home Anne was up and she went and cleaned up my office here. Good stuff. She even found my manual for my camera.

From the odds ’n ends dept: Anne’s a bit upset by the heat, going through periodic episodes of flushes. Add the uneducable thermostat and the heat only escalates and so does her mood. I’m happy hearing about Mothers music

Having the Hal Leonard course books/Cd’s. Dallas won their game #4 so the series is tied. Like that’s no surprise. So if all goes well, There will be a 5pm Pen’s Flyers game #5 on at 5pm tomorrow and a Dallas at Detroit game #5 on for 5pm Monday. I tried grabbing a bit of a nap when Anne left out of here when I got home but no such luck. I’ll pass out around 3 and sleep most of tomorrow before the game. Also there’s wrestling on as well.
