Looks like another really nice day out there. The weather is supposed to warm up significantly over the next few days. I think there are even a few +25C’s in there this week as well.

The Indiana Jones hype is still going strong while the Iron man hype is losing ground but not by much. It’s now in 3rd position after being out for 4 weeks now according to “Box office Mojo.” Iron man’s budget was $144M and it already made over $252M. There was also some news that there could be Flash Gordon movie in the works. I wasn’t a big fan of FG. Slightly before my time. If the movie is kept to it’s original premise then this could be a great movie. From what I recall of the movie it was like a space opera. Basically Hollywood has got nothing left in the tank. Speed Racer for example, it's budget was $120M. After 4 weeks it grossed $36M. I’d say flop. Hollywood has to resort to remakes or borrow from other media it seems to survive. Watch for more book to movie ideas coming out in the next several years as Science Fiction authors begin to cash in on their film option rights. Meanwhile the Video Game Industry (VGI) keeps on cranking out game titles. They get crap as well but look at all of the game to movie crossovers over the last 5 years. The VGI last year alone grossed about $12B. Like the music business the movie industry is floundering.

Not much going on today folks. My wife noticed my mouth all swollen saying it looks like someone punched me in the mouth but I’m going in for later this afternoon. I’m not in any pain or anything. I'm just waiting for this thing to pop and when it does I won't swallow it. That's poison bad news. When the abssess pops (usually I do it on my own) then the swelling comes down.
