A mixed bag today

The weather felt colder Monday. If you want to call -15C cold. I had a nice trip into work and put my headphones on and bought some “Cheese Pleesers” for tonight’s wrestling show. Of course JT and Gary are pouting over the paper ball thing and are not talking to me. I had to smile. Rob was in with Steve (regional manager) saying some things about line hour and how the day shift is beating the night shift. I noticed how he ragged out on JT and Gary as they only had $50 on their tally sheets. He said something about canceling shifts. Over the last several days our night shift is down to 6 tap shooters. I ended up with $460 on the night and 1 CC’s.

I want to go to Pizza, I really do. The only thing is, what if I don’t do well and or if they are all full there? The economy is still good here even though oil is at $114 US. The other thing is what if I don’t like the Piazza job? Of course I could always try before I buy and I think I’ll put my resume in this afternoon. If I get a call, I could ask to work a few hours to see if I can handle the job. I’ll see about working from noon-4pm. That’s give me 4 hours.

SF Signal went and did a facelift of their site. What the heck is going on? They haven’t refreshed their blog yet is what they haven’t done.

Raw was a pretty good show last night. Summerslam is on the 17th and we’re ordering pizza for the occasion. Anne made us a bowl of chili for lunch. I didn’t get much reading in today. COH: $85.70. Not to bad.

Hey, I went and discovered the official CERN website and they had a LHC update yesterday. They will be doing some testing the day after my 56th birthday, August 22nd. It seems according to the CERN website (link in links section of this site) will be September 10th. They’re even going to have television coverage of this event.

Tuesday will be a normal day. Nothing special.
