A bit from yesterday and today

Good thing we have half our rent for September covered or we would be up the preverbal creek. Lately Anne’s been sitting out with me at the bus stop waiting for me to board my bus to Clairview and then downtown to Corona Station and into work. I grabbed my dialer and the ritual look for a headset. Moe had to go get one for me. My first sale was $38 for 2 tickets/sponsorship for CF. Well, it’s a Wednesday. I had a slow start and I was at $158 by break. From there on in the shift was a torture to do. I ended up with $276. Uggh. I called Anne after work from the office phone then headed out to the train for home.

Apparently the LRT was experiencing switching difficulties. It Didn’t stop me from having a good reading session on JU today. I’m now slightly past the half way part of the book. By the time I finish this book won’t be until about the end of September.

Speaking of which this weekend is the long weekend. Labour Day that is. Wuwho! I go in for 4 hours Saturday and I get most of Saturday, all of Sunday and Monday off. Plus I get to watch the CFL Labour Day Classic. I love it.

I had a bit of a wait on the bus at Clairview around 9:40pm reading and I was home shortly by 10pm. So if Anne gets the job today, great. The thing is for the 3 days/week that she wants to put in she’ll be working 7 hour days. One of those has to be on a weekend. She’ll be working Saturday afternoons. I’m not sure I want to do that if I get a job there. But if I can work there, I’d like it to be from 9:30pm/2am at least until lthe end of September. That’s 4 hours, 3 days/week. October 1st is when the hours change at my current job. If I get hired on at Pizza, I’m going to do it right: I’m going to get a Doctors note from my Doctor saying I can’t put weekends in because of “physiotherapy on my back.” This way I can have my weekends off.

Anyway, I’m going to get some piano practicing in pretty soon.

There’s been a couple of science fiction television shows I’ve been watching lately; repeats of “Star Trek the next generation”durring lunch before work and “Eureka" on Sundays. Another “new” show I’m interested in this fall is a remake of “Flash Gordon.” I don't get the casting on this show. From what I've seen of it the mother of our hero doesn't seem to be any older then the star of the show itself. "Flash Gordon" (in this version) lives with his mom but whoever did the casting for this show must have been high on something. The mother looks like she's 20 and our hero looks 18-20, not very convincing. But I can get past that if the story lines are good. I also Like “Stargate Atlantis” but every time I try to watch the show Sunday at 6pm they’ve been putting on a repeat. Also, Space is going to be airing “The Lost” and I want to check that out as well.

Anyway Bloggers, that‘s all for now
