Lets face it Obama’s big acceptance speech was history in the making. I’d like to see him get elected.

I had a mediocre night on the job last night but I got my paycheque and I went to do my banking and got the train home on time. The LRT was running contingency buses to the University because of track switching.

As for “JU” I’m reading about 100 pages/week. At this rate I should have the book read in 4-6 weeks. I hope.

My wife went in for her job interview. It was with a bunch of other applicants as well. Seems pizza has the same staffing shortages as we do. She goes in for training in 2 weeks and we’re wondering what’s up with that?

She says, she doesn’t have the job yet but needs to know if she can keep the job. Maybe that’s why there is such a high turnover there because of the nature of the job itself. The thing that I don’t like from what she learned is the hours, which are from 5-2 or 5-9. There are a few early afternoon shifts on Thursday, Friday and on the weekends. I don’t know if Pizza would let me work from say 10-2am. Also since Anne’s been off work for 2 weeks, when she called the job yesterday they weren’t answering their phones and she needs to pick up her cheque today. I got a full week on my cheque last night.

Good night ladies. Yes I can now play the first half of this song on my keyboard. The 2nd part is a bit more challenging.

At Telus World of Science they’ve been hosting “Bodyworks.” This exhibit is not without controversy. Now I’m not a religious person but even I find this exhibit controversial. I personally think its making a mockery of the dead and its in poor taste as well.

CERN a couple days ago have done their finale synchronization check of the LHC. This is excellent news. In 11 days they will make their first collisions. I don’t think they will find the Higgs the first time out.

For the most part Anne and I are “biting the bullet” this month. We’re not sure if she’s going to have work at her current place of employment or this new job. This means my allowance is $20. I’ve got about $10 COH so I can buy ac few books and have enough left over for Lodge night next week.
