I missed taking my insulin at 5pm yesterday what with all the distractions at dinnertime contacting Nathan and Neil. Saying I wouldn’t be in for lodge night but I will on the 16th and I’ll do the WT for our FC candidate. Apparently there were lodge elections last night. Uh-oh. But the Tyler position is an appointment. So Nathan said he’d simply suggest that even though I’m not here he would proxy my request for Tyler. I received 2 calls last night that I missed but I don’t recall hearing them. I had YouTube on, which could account for that or watching some of the English language debate. More on that in a bit.

We went to bed about 3am and I took my insulin at that time. After spending some time with my wife; playing with Sparky and listening to a bit of Coast, I was fast asleep by 4am and since I didn’t need to do the cbi thing, I slept a good 8 hours until 11am. Well other then those night time trips to the bathroom (most likely early stages of prostrate) I slept pretty well. I got up at 11am mainly because I’ll be in bed in another 12 hours anyway. I might get myself a can of beer for ECW. This usually helps me sleep pretty good.

I watched a little of the English Language debate but went to do something else when I saw everybody was jumping all over Harper. From what I did see I thought Elizabeth May was the best speaker of the bunch but her tax on carbon platform rubs me the wrong way. I thought Jack Layton was a great speaker. I was really impressed with him. Dion held his own but his focus was on Harper. I even thought the Bloc leader was good. The only two leaders I didn’t like were Harper and Dion. I want Harper to win the election obviously

But Jack Layton and Elizabeth May really had me going. If it wasn’t for her platforms I’d probably vote for her. She’d make a great leader for this country but sorry Elizabeth and Jack, your policies don’t cut it for me. Harper is the way to go and he clearly won the debate last night. Unless he does something really stupid, odds are high we’ll have a PC majority or at least a PC minority Government.

Anyway, I’m off to work at 4pm and there until 8:30pm. I won’t get home until 9:20pm because of my banking. Ever since this DNC list came into effect this week has been causing me all kinds of headaches. Not physical ones but they could lead to those. I usually have a couple of DNC’s in an evening. This is why we’re working the phones cold calling. I don’t know what they are going to do with the taps. The difference between me and the regular cold calling people is I’m a tap shooter doing cold calls and I don’t need to have my sales verified. Not that this wouldn’t bother me. After work it’s up to the bank to do my banking get my $20 and home for wrestling. Then I’m up early to do it again for Saturday. The upcoming long weekend in 2 weeks couldn’t come fast enough for me.
