Another Friday

Yesterday afternoon my wife’s sister called from Winnipeg where she lives and mentioned how she would be here in Edmonton for a few days they planed to meet for coffee at Corona station Tim's. The wind was blowing hard all night. So the girls did their coffee thing while I was at work. Anne latter said they sat there by the windows of Tim’s having coffee inside around 9pm. They were hoping to get my attention as I would ordinarily pass by on my way down to the lower train concourse and I would have looked for them if I was going that way. However, I was behind them outside waiting on the street for my bus to haul me over to my bank. Anne realized this latter. I was even looking through Tim’s windows outside for them but they were out of my line of sight. There wasn’t enough time anyway as my bus was fast approaching.

I did all my banking and caught the train for home at Central station right below my bank. We had the Oiler game on at work and the Oiler’s were playing well in the first period hosting Toronto tied at 2 but there were a lot of somber fan faces pouring out onto the Rexall place LRT told me, more or less the rest of the story I didn’t see.

I got home to check on Boot’s and his tunnel was still out there. I didn’t want to disturb him while he was probably sleeping. The finale on the Oiler/Toronto game was 5-2 Toronto.

Anne had a preheated plate of something for me, she came back around 11:30pm. She brought Boots in again but this time he jumped Pledges and Silky didn’t like him at all. The babies were hiding under the kitchen table (where I’m drinking my coffee in the Welcome block left.) wary of our stray “addition” to the family. We still don’t know for certain if he’s someone else’s cat but we don’t think so.

We went to bed at out usual time, around 4am. Anne’s got to be at work soon and I’m going to call Ms about the inbound call center job before I go to work. Hopefully their client still needs staff and I can set up an interview Monday before I go into my job. I called Ms client handler just now and left a message, my home phone # and Anne’s mobile to get back to me, hopefully Monday. I’m not anticipating anyone will call this afternoon.

When I leave out of here at 4pm for my 3.5 hour shift I’m heading straight into work, no end of the line reading for me. After work it’s off over to Audrey’s to get a book and home for Smackdown/ECW and then off to bed. A typical Friday night before an early Saturday morning shift.

Anyway Bloggers that’s all for now
