And another post |

Okay see those 2 dark cars on the curb in the foreground? I’m heading for the office across the street and something catches my eye on the curb. Hey, I found a tooney (our $2 coin) a quarter and a dime. There might have been more as somebody was in a hurry to pay and leave. Wuu who! Hehehe. That paid for my coffee at Tim’s last night.
Pleased with myself I asked the security guard if he wouldn’t mind taking a picture of me with my loot. The most amount of money I’ve ever found was a $20 bill at Clairview station coming off the escalator. But that made up for the $20 I lost on my birthday August $21st 1997 working at Value village that weekend. I didn’t shave this morning because I wasn’t about to go out anywhere later. So here I am gloating over my find:
A few days ago I caught Pledges my old guy at the bathroom sink. He’s diabetic and drinking way to much water lately. Silky my younger guy decided to see what Pledges finds so interesting about the water in the sink, so he came up behind to take a look. Pledges doesn’t know Silky is even there in the photo.
I got out and headed to where I took that Jasper Ave building photo this morning below, and the wind was just howling. I could barely breath hading to the entrance. The wind was that bad. I had a bit of a wait and noticed a pile of passengers waiting to go North to Clairview. Uggh. I decided to take the train the other way and go to Health Sciences (fancy way for saying hospital) I got back to Clairview after almost passing out on the train and at Clairview I bought a pair of raisin butter tart cups for my desert for later.
When I got home I was tired but not that exhausted. Some B&W western movie was on. Anne called and I had a chat with her after a lousy ending to what I thought was a good movie and then went for bed. I slept from about 4:30pm and woke up to pee then back to bed and woke up at 7pm. I felt a lot better after that.
The Oiler’s were the better team playing tonight at Rexall place but they lost to a shoot out and the Eskimo’s were sent packing losing something like 26-36. There was one sloppy play that basically told their story. I did ok at work pulling in $530 and 2 CC’s.
My supervisor had $100 in bonuses up for grabs Saturday afternoon for us tap shooters for most sales. I was lucky if I had 2 CC’s for Saturday and that’s what I’ve been getting every night this week. G had about 8 CC’s just for Saturday alone. Every CC is worth the equivalent of 3 sales. So I got to thinking, G is across from me and I’ll listen to what he say’s. He’s the one getting a ton of CC’s every shift. What’s he saying that I’m not? He gets a sale. Fine, then I’m listening for the CC close. “Mrs. Jones, we’re asking all of our donors, if you could pay on a CC etc.” Wait now, there’s no tax receipt issued for this campaign. Sale type is CT= “contribution.” G is making it sound like his sales are donors and will be receiving a tax receipt. I brought this up to the Super’s attention without naming any names of course. He looked at me like I’m nuts. His reply: “Are You kidding me?” No I’m not. You’re misleading our contributors for Cops for Kids into thinking they’re donors and will be getting a tax receipt. I can’t compete with that. One of the other people I work with think that this is an out of bounds area. I’m not going to stoop down to that level and suggest to the customer that they are donors to get the bonus money/CC’s.
Anyway Bloggers that’s all for now
