I love snow days and this one is good. I’m waiting for my bus to go into work so I thought I’d take a couple of photos. This first one is right behind our place. That dark green tree in the center is the “Boot’s tree.”

Anne’s out there giving the poor thing something to eat. We’ll be bringing him in on really cold days and most likely if I have my way, we’ll end up keeping him once he gets cleaned up a little and his nuts fixed so he doesn’t go after the other cats.

This next photo shows our building/rental complex’s grounds keeper with a snow blower. The snow coming down was nice wet and mushy. I love it. I got into the office and scooped up JT’s dialer. Good thing because people at 9:30am were already filing in.

This 3rd photo coat over the chair is Buds dialer. This is looking West to East. I had a slow start but I ended up with 4 CC’s and the same total I ended up with last night. I also won a $10 Nevada bonus as well. That’s $45 in bonuses this week.

I was so happy (soar tooth and all) when 2pm rolled around. I went outside and it was raining. Crazy weather. I got a Star Wars book “Edge of Victory” and noticed that the Peter F. Hamilton “Nights dawn” trilogy is being republished. Book 1 and 2 is out. These are huge reads, with over 1,000 pages in each book. I think this is going to be a Christmas present for myself. When I get around to actually read these huge monsters probably wont be until next year. I got my train and home. The “Night’s dawn” trilogy Book 1 has 1,120 pages. Book 2: Neutronium Alchemist has another 1,168 pages, book 3 (not yet at Audrey’s) 1,360 pages. Hamilton has a lot of different story arch’s in his epics and many of them overlap.

When I came in I relaxed and got an aspirin. I’m feeling ok now, just a bit of toothache pain. I went to bed and about 6pm I woke up, feeling pretty good.

Very little pain. Anne called me about 6:15pm.

I had a little computer scare here earlier. I thought I had shut the Computer off but I left the Sd media card in the reader. I didn’t realize this until I was just about to reformat. Close call. I wondered why my hard drive wasn’t responding.

So the Oiler’s/SJ game won’t get underway until 8:30pm. I thought it read 4pm. Strange. I checked the TV listings and yes, it’s an 8:15pm start. Good stuff. Last year the Oiler’s won their series with the Sharks, 3-1. This year it’s a little different.
