After locking up here yesterday I headed out the door for my bus and my train into work. I got to my dialer and no Boss hanging around. Good. I got my regular dialer and JT came in and paid me my $2 bet from the Oiler win. That makes us even. Last night it was Ottawa Sens at Atlanta, JT took Atlanta I took the Sens. I had a slow start as we did a “fresh campaign.” CCSD. I ended up pulling $415 by break. I read a bit out of “Runner” and had my sandwiches. I had a slow start to the 2nd half but did a lot better pulling in 3 CC sales and raised $820 for CCSD. Not to bad. I notice one of the new people had a guitar and I asked if I could hold it just to get the feel of it and if I could play a chord. My fingers are so week after decades of cracking my knuckles. So much for guitar. I think I’ll just stick to piano.

The City still hadn’t cleared off the snow lingering on the streets for the last 3 days. I got the train to Clairview and so far no hassles. I was inside by about 9:45pm and Anne called me on her last break from work. So my outing last night, wasn’t bad.

On the news there was a bit about the national Do not Call list. Or DNC. There are some loopholes in this legislation, which means that anyone can get access to the list of phone numbers and utilize it. Also the CRTC has about 500 investigations under way of those telemarketers not using the list. As far as I know, were not using the list at work. If people want to have their names removed then we write up a small form and it gets processed. I’ve really got to get out of Xl. This DNC list is going to cause me all kinds of trouble.

I’m slowly working my way through “Runner.” It’s not bad but it’s tough going even though the writing is good it’s tough (mostly on my end) to get into this. I need a good uninterrupted hour. Maybe later this morning.

Apparently the weather is supposed to warm up out there as its calling for +5C and even a +8C but I doubt we’ll get that warm.

I listened to a bit of Coast as they were talking about UFO/ET Disclosure. George’s guest, Stephen Bassett spoke about the “Citizen's Briefing book.” I looked at the item being discussed on the show and it received over 7,500 points. Interesting. This could be a lead in to Obama 2.0. Obama is the first US President to send out his presidential address on YouTube. Obama has used Facebook, Twitter, Blogging and MSN text messaging software. Obama has shown a transparency and an involvement with the community. Or is Obama just going to use this technology as a broadcasting and PR tool? Also Obama wants on board in his cabinet a technology advisor. Some names come to mind: Danny Hillis the supercomputer wiz that worked for Disney. Hillis would be my choice. Maybe Bill Gates or the fellow that used to work for Yahoo. If this “Citizen’s briefing book,” gets any attention from Obama especially UFO/ET disclosure then the topic might just make or break Obama for a 2nd term.

Personally I don’t believe in “UFO’s” in the classical context. I mean most of these sightings are made at night for one thing. Why would ET that could travel light years here need running lights on their craft and to be seen only at night? I think there is a better answer more down to earth: Domestic advanced aircraft. Notice most of the UFO reports (not all) occur in the US,

I’m not saying ET isn’t out there but they’re not the savers of our world. We have to save ourselves. But if ET is going to land on the White House lawn and say “Take me to your leader,” its going to be something from here that will inspire them to make a public appearance. I mean if they’re watching us. If they are here at all and I’ll leave it at that.

So later this afternoon it’s into work for my 5-9. It’s a Thursday which means I get a pay cheque and I’m off to do my banking tonight. It gets a bit hectic for a bit but if all goes well I’ll be back in time to catch the last of the Oiler’s at Wild game. So for today gang, that’s all from me.
