Work, weirdness and crap

This has been a long month with barely a week to go. I left out of here on time and got into the office about 4:35pm yesterday and Rob was there by the computers chatting it up with various staff and idiots returning from laid off jobs asking for raises. These people really have their heads stuck up their asses. On a Friday night we had all the tap section full and by 7pm about a 3rd of our side left. Most of them work at other day jobs paying them $12/$15 hr and competing with me. I said jokingly to JT “Watch John W will show up any day now.” Apparently he’s been there for the last week.

I had a great start to the shift last night doing AES pulling in $600 the first hour and then line hour by 7pm ($720) I had 2 CC’s and I ended up with top total for $1,235 and a special kudos from Super for a $6 bonus, yeesh big deal. No matter what I couldn’t get more then 2 CC’s all night. I left out of there for Audrey’s and I got one of my new books that I had special ordered a few weeks ago, RA Salvatore’s “Hunter’s blade” trilogy. Book 1 was in. I left out of there and headed downstairs for my train and cracked open my book and continued to read “Runner.” A brief wait at Clairview and I was home by 9:30pm.

I watched Smackdown and some news at 11pm and the main event. Anne came in and made me a bite to eat watching ECW with me as she played with Boots. I was in bed by 1:15am listening to Coast for a bit. Their special topic line was shape shifting (based on an incident that happened about Police somewhere cornering off a goat because witnesses said that the goat was a crime suspect that's all I heard.) I don’t know the details of this story and my Coast Newsletter “Nightwatch” hasn’t arrived yet. I’ll try and have an update on this latter, maybe. Basically the special topic line had to do with the more mundane variety of the “shape shifter.” Like personality disorders, that sort of thing. I’ve never had any direct experience with a shape shifter myself but I know my wife can change her personality when under stress. Lots of people do when under stress both internal and external kinds of stress. Of course anyone reading this Blog will remember Science Fiction’s favorite shape shifter  from Star Trek's “Odo” from Deep Space 9. not to leave out lycanthropes like werewolves and vampires of course. My favorite Vampire/shape shifter was played by actor Jonathan Fred’s: “Barnabas Collins” of Dark Shadows fame. Dark Shadows had it all, Witches, Ghosts, monsters even zombies. But Barnabas was my favorite character. Sorry couldn’t resist plugging a short story of mine.

Today, I’ll be heading out in the -31C weather for the job thing this morning to put my 4 hours in. The first 2 hours goes by really fast it's the 2nd part that really drags. Our source for AES is running out so I doubt I’ll have the same results as last night. All I want today is bonus money. I don’t care about totals. “Nightwatch” is in but no update on the goat, well you can Google about it on your own.

Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now.
