All kinds of banal ramblings this afternoon. Youv'e been warned |

Anne took out the trash and did a check for Boots run and sure enough he was out back there. She came back and got a blanket for him and brought him back up for the night…..Update on Boots: We have him back so here’s a photo I took oh him moments ago (Monday 2:10pm Jan 26th 2009)
We were going to go to my bank to get another bank card today but I wasn‘t in the mood to go out running around. Anne’s off Tuesday and we’ll do it then. Speaking about our cats I took this shot of the 2 brothers sleeping together. If your going to get a cat you need 2 from the same litter.
Mostly all day I’ve been reading “Runner.” SF Signal has a review and you can read their review here. I’ll be making mine when I’ve finished reading the book. Right now, I’m just over the half way point.
Ah, an update on Jerry Cornelius’s Blog. Seems he’s been off line a couple of days due to technical difficulties. I like reading his blog. He’s well versed in the Hermetic Qabalah a subject I’ve been interested in since I first heard about it in 1980.
One of the movies I want to see when it comes to the dollar theater is Will Eisner’s “The Sprit”. I used to love reading this character in the 1970’s when Kitchen Sink Press began republishing the Black and White comics. Hopefully the movie will make The Spirit a comeback and book spin-offs after that……………1:00pm Anne and I went to bed about 4am. Coast had a great show on last night. George Knapp with guest Philip Imbrogno discussing parallel universes and realities. The premise of the show was that UFO’s aren’t really flying saucers from another star but rather a window of another reality sharing our space and time. For all we know these could be like cars on a freeway and all we see are the cars not the freeway. This could explain creatures from myth and legends as well. Near the end of the program George brought up the subject of the LHC at Cern being a possible window into these other realities/dimensions. His guest answered how when protons are collided and their results (other particles) break off, like a trail of smoke signals in the air, he said those are the other dimensions we see the broken off particles disappear into for a fraction of a second. I strongly believe that Cern has the tools to unlock these dimensions. That is when it comes online for real sometime this year. But Coast last night was a fascinating program. Definitely worth staying up and listen to.
So far today the markets are doing fine. Everything except oil is up. Oil is down only a few cents. Tomorrow is budget day and NDP and Block are both going to reject the Budget but they don’t have enough votes in the House to call for a non confidence vote. They need the Liberals. An Epsos Reid poll conducted recently asked Canadians who they have more confidence in when leading the economy out of this crisis. 44% said Harper, the rest fell way behind. NDP something like 14%. As a Libertarian I’d put my faith in the current Govt.
Not much going on today. It’s a Monday and I do my 4 hours and then come home to watch Monday night Raw. WWE had their big PPV Royal Rumble show on yesterday. I liked it better when it was called WWF but thanks to the “World Wildlife Fund” (Don’t get me started on these idiots and DDT combating Malaria) sued the World Wrestling Federation over the name in 2000.
Anyway Bloggers, that’s all for now.
