On the bus and heading to Clairview station I had this feeling that I didn’t lock the place up on my way out. I dismissed it waiting for my train and read up until Stadium. I got my dialer and fished for more cans and bottles. I paid JT and DC each the $2 I owed them. I had a good start to the shift. I bet DC Buffalo to win in Calgary with DC and I lost. I had a lot of help getting cans and bottles, which was nice. Anne had called and I hurriedly put my dialer on pause and rushed away from the room so management couldn’t her me answering just in time. I had about a minute left as well and we burned that. I had 4 CC sales for $195 and I think I get 10% of that for bonuses tonight. So far I think I have about $50 bucks in bonuses for next week. COP is being really decent to us but it wont least.

I was glad to get out of there and I made my way to Corona and read waiting for my train. The train was crowded as well. I was lucky on 2 cars I was able to get a seat. With my nice haul of cans and bottles I was able to get them and me home by 9:45pm. Anne called at 10 pm. She left me with a bit of Ravioli as I had this while watching the news. I had another night over $900 as our COP source is drying up. I think we have another couple of days at this.........……….1:45pm> Finally I was able to get some sleep over night. A good 8 hours at that. Anne made me a bit of breakfast, 1 egg, waffles and a couple of sausages to go along with my insulin.

I got up at noon watched the first half of the news and markets. Everything was down but the dollar is holding at .80 cents CND. Oil is at $40 and holding. The markets move forward for 3 days and back off for a day as Canadian markets are reacting to yesterdays budget. I was reading in the Sun that Canadians will get a 100% rebate on new computer equipment. I need confirmation about this. If this is true and is in affect, then I’ll ask Anne to get the funds and maybe purchase a Macbook pro or something. I need to confirm this and when does it come into effect. A new computer might be on the horizon.

Also before I went to bed I ended up opening a Live Journal free account. It’s $20/year for a paid subscription which isn’t to bad. But everything links back to my MS Word diary (private) to my website to my Blogger and then Live Journal page. There’s a link to my LJ page right on my site at the bottom of the Welcome block. LJ is more robust then Blogger and Blogger apparently captures everything for the Feds. This might be the case with most online journals. No big deal.

As for me this afternoon at 4:00pm I go into work and maybe I’ll get my cheque in early. Perhaps DC will be handing out the pay cheques at the reception desk again on my way in. Then I’ve got 4 hours and it’s off to my bank using my wife’s account because my bank card was lost. Then home.

I’m just about ready to wrap up “Runner.” I’m on the last 100 pages or so. This book began slow and didn’t grab me right away. Actually it still doesn’t grab me not like Eric Brown’s “Helix” did. But “Runner” has some charming qualities in it, which made me want to continue.
