Ok here we are nearing the end of February. By this time next week, we’ll be into March. And of course February came in like a lamb and is going out like a lion as they say. February wants to give us one last blast of severe winter yet before it makes way for March. We’re not out of it yet but by the end of March most of the snow should be gone.
We went to bed about 3:30am listening to a bit of Coast. I like George Knapp. He usually has something about UFO’s Black Opps, stuff like that.
I’m sick of hearing about the economy aren’t you? I’ll take a good old UFO
Yarn over economic topics any day. Tonight on Coast is another UFO show, Planet X.
Yes it’s a Monday night and that means I go into work for my 4 hours and come back to watch Monday night Raw. I’m enjoying this new story line.
“Logos run” is coming along fine. I’ve got about 100 pages left to go and I should have it read by the end of the month if all things go well. Next up is Timothy Zahn’s “The third lynx,” should be a good read.
I have more details on that $50M 6/49 lottery draw Saturday night. It seems there were 4 winners. Not a group of people but 4. Two were from the metro Toronto area. 1 was from Sudbury, and one was from Quebec. Of course these people are not going to disclose their identity for obvious reasons. But the lottery made at least 4 people wealthy and maybe their extended family’s. Incidentally 20 winners won $224,863.70! I’d love to be one of those winners. That’s 2nd place 5 numbers plus the bonus number. Anne says I should buy 1 ticket week and that’s a pretty good thing to do. The $5 I won is going to pay off my hockey bets at work this afternoon.
They've got a pretty good topic going on over there at SF Signal on reading speeds."Are you reading to fast?" I'm a slow reader. I'm lucky if I get through 1 novel/month. I think my response went through, I'm not sure but if it didn't I'll post something about it later when I get home from work.
Anyway, gang that’s all for now.
