I was running behind last night so I called George to see if I could get a ride to Lodge. He picked me up at 6:30pm. I was kind of early waiting outside and in the lobby of our building wasting half an hour. I’ll know better next time. We did get to the Lodge ok but his door got stuck on the passengers side in the parking lot. We had a candidate there and a whack of guests. For the most part I sat outside. I could have brought my book along to read. People were coming in and going out. We did something a little different with the candidate. This kind of threw me off guard for awhile. The festive board was a little lame, crackers and cold cuts. I had a Stella beer and a diet coke for toasting. We had 4 tables of guys there as well. Usually we have just 2. I talked with Neil about going out with him to the RCMP degree team. They have a degree night here in the Edmonton area next month sometime. We‘re not entirely sure of the date.

It was 11:45pm by the time I got in. Anne was cooking up her perogies, which I requested from earlier. But at least I paid for my Lodge dues last night and I got that out of the way and that‘s the important thing. I‘m going to be doing the asking questions in the candidates prove-up in May in which case WM is going to send me some stuff because I don’t have the book. It was a good meeting last night. The festive board was great. “The Widows Sons” a Masonic motorcycle Lodge showed up with some of their members.

I did some piano theory work this morning and discovered a nifty way to realize major and minor chords, through half steps. 4/3 half steps make up a major chord. 3-4 half steps make up a minor chord. I signed up for a great email subscription I stumbled upon via (what else?) YouTube.

After work tonight I’m heading off to Audrey’s to get my book. This is kind of like a part 2 of the “Icewind” Dale series. It’s kind of pricy as well what with it being $25 bucks. So I’m going to have to get some out of that $50 Anne said is for my Wrestlemania. I’m expecting bonus money on my cheque but not counting on it.

Yes there was an Oiler hockey game on during Lodge night with the 2 new guys in the line up. The Oiler’s played something horrible. Now they‘re in 8th place. I think they play again tomorrow night.

Well, it‘s off to blog this and to play Oblivion. Some great Elder scrolls action. I‘ve got a long way to go to level up to 4. So, I‘m going to go blog this and off to Oblivion. It doesn’t play itself.
