I'm a bit rushed with this tonight

Alrighty, here I am. I had nothing much to say over the past couple of days. Some might think that in itself is a oxymoron. I got up about 11:30pm yesterday with a headache and I slept an hour and felt a lot better even though I missed the market graphics.

I went into work feeling pretty good nice and mild out there. When I got in I asked Robb if I could have a word with him. So I mentioned about my vacation pay not showing up on my pay stub. All he said was for me to see Brenda our reception. Coincidently, she was there. So we had a talk about this and she said she’d look into it for me in the morning. Good stuff. The first half went great and I was way above line hour. In the 2nd half I tried calling Anne but she wouldn’t answer, or couldn’t as she was doing our bi- weekly laundry load. but we had the Oiler game on at kick-off. I had a great 2nd half and without any prodding from me, Super was passing out pay cheques as I was talking with B about my total. Oiler’s at this time were leading 4-1 in Denver. I had $765 with about 3 minutes to go but all I had was 2 CC sales. B said I should strive to get 1 CC sale/hour. CC sales are not easy for me to get. Also my bank was currently at 68%, which is decent enough. Also, I received a $50 bonus on my cheque, which was missing from last time.

I got to my #5 bus stop and as I was waiting somebody said “Hi James,” I couldn’t figure out who it was at first. It was my book ordering guy from my book ordering store across the street. T confirmed for me that they’re getting Robert J Sawyer for a book signing. I said I knew about the signing but this confirms the place. Good stuff. Thursday, April 23rd. Of course I’m taking the night off for this. I mentioned to T that I’d be picking up my book today that’s been sitting in special order.

I managed to get my banking done and I caught the 9:20pm train at Central station right below the bank. A seat to myself and a quiet ride home even though some of my fellow passengers were a bit vocal on the way home. I got home and played an hour or so of Oblivion. I found an invisible dog and rat and another bridge over the island. Cool. I’m just about to break level 5 as well but I need a bed.

Anne made supper and we watched the news. The Oiler’s ended up winning 8-1 beating up a last place team. Still it kind of makes up for losing a 9-2 decision when playing Chicago Blackhawk’s last December 18th. Now we go back to Chicago and hopefully the Oiler’s can do a better job tonight then the last time………10:15pm> Quite sometime later. I called our receptionist and she just gave me the number to call (payroll)

I didn’t feel like reading on the way into work. I got in the office and got my cans and bottles and a slow start to the shift. I ended up with $210 at break. I did a lot better in the 2nd half pulling I think about $550. I have it on notepad so I’ll find out for sure in the morning. The Oiler game wasn’t on TV but I kept track of the score throughout the night.

I picked up my book at Audrey’s feeling my bsl level dropping. T ordered the first 3 in the Eberron series for me. “Blade of the Flame.” I have all 3 of them on order. Plus I ordered 3 more in the “New Jedi order:” “Rebel Dream: Enemy Lines I and 2” Aaron Allston and “Traitor” Matthew Stover. Plus I ordered RA Salvatore’s: The Cleric Quintet (Collector’s Edition omnibus), So that’s 7.

Anyway, gang that’s all for now.
