I called Neil and got the ok to give me a lift to Lodge. He’d be by at 7pm. While I was out there waiting George came along and I didn’t think he would because I didn’t call him. I apologized and said Neil was going to give me a lift. My bad. Shortly after 7pm Neil came along and we got to the Lodge but the front door was locked and Jack W waiting on the steps. Neil looking like a Lawyer knocked on the temple door and finally somebody came by to open up. We had a small crew there last night about 15 guys and including again only this time the unofficial “Wright Worshipful Deputy Grand Master” of our district (Yellowhead). I was given a temporary key to lock up the building from outside. The Temple was all set up, which is really supposed to be my job. Also, I had to announce the DGM as “The Wright Worshipful Deputy Grand Master.” Since this was not an official visit or anything like that. I fumbled a bit when it was time to release the stewards. It was a short meeting. At the festive board our EA had a smart phone and mentioned the score of the Oiler/SJ game. The Oiler’s were losing 2-1 at the end of the 2nd. I had a Heineken beer and a Diet Coke, which I never began. I managed to snag from George (our secretary) a copy of “the Blue book.“ so I could learn the EA exam and after Neil dropped me off, I found that it’s not as long as I thought it would be. I had a good night.

We had a nice go of an early April snow shower earlier with big fluffy flakes of snow as indicated in this photo I took about 3:30pm yesterday. I like days like this and apparently right now it’s foggy out there.

I took this photo of Sporty loving up to Silky, Silky is like the “older brother” of Sporty and these 2 are totally comfortable with each other, which is rare because they are from different litters. Here Sporty wants a kiss from Silky:

Thursday turned out to be just great. I won’t have enough for my book tonight but I will for Saturday after work and maybe even a fast food treat at the City center food court if all goes well and I get all my bonus money on Saturday I’ll go get my book at Audrey’s and head for home a nap and watch the Oiler game.

Speaking of which there is a glimmer of hope the Oiler’s could still make the playoffs but if the lose Saturday nights game, that‘ll be about it for the Oiler‘s for this season. With all the controversy surround Oiler Coach Craig Mac T from some disgruntled fans, the player’s stand behind their Coach and so do I. When I got home to catch the aftermath of last nights game Oiler’s owner Darryl Katz replied a text message to a radio station of all the idiots unsatisfied with Coach Mac T, He text messaged the radio station, which basically said: “Mac T isn’t going anywhere. Quote me!” Good. I like Mac T. it’s not his fault the team isn’t doing well.

Well how about those markets? The Dow is just under 8000 points. Some will most likely say it’ll go back down today and or Monday. Oil is at $52. Some say it’s because of the activity going on at the G20 summit.

And how about his whacky story about Alain Robert, known as the "French Spider-Man" was arrested in Malaysia hanging a banner drawing attention to global warming. What an idiot. I’m glad he got arrested and I hope he gets 30 days in jail……….2:00pm> I’m making progress memorizing the work I said I’d try to be ready for in May.. I’ve got about half of it committed to memory and it looks pretty good I can be 75% comfortably ready in a couple of weeks and 90% comfortable ready in our next regular meeting. This should be ok. I can do a little each day.

I didn’t sleep very well over night, the cat kept on opening the curtain to let light inside and a stab of light is almost as good as an unwelcome alarm clock.

I’m tracking the snow melting away out here. As it does this over the next couple of days it lifts trash left over from previous snowfalls. I’m watching the snow melt revealing the ground underneath between the edge of the exposed ground at the top of this photo to the exposed ground by the tree.

Most likely I’ll have an entry for Saturday but it will be brief. This is Wrestlemania weekend. Sunday Anne’s out of here at 3pm to go get our Rose Bowl pizza. Wrestlemania 25 is already ordered and ready to go. Hopefully Anne will be just walking in with pizza as my program gets underway. I order 2 WWE PPV events/year, Wrestlemania and Summer Slam. Summerslam because it’s close to my birthday.

Tonight it’s back on the job. The good thing about it is it’s a 3.5 hour shift and I get my pay cheque. The bad is its back to CRF and becoming a robot for 3.5 hours. I’ll be getting 50 TD’s, F3’s, TOL’s/1 sale. Will I get my bonus money from 2 weeks ago? Your guess is as good as theirs.
