I left with Anne’s bank card and the idea was to get my cheque and then go over to Audrey’s after work and use her debit card to pay for my books. Great idea. I’m heading into work feeling alright ready to go into the pharmacy to get a 6/49 ticket for tonight’s draw and the place was locked up. Two police squad cars were parked outside. Maybe they were around the till area for one reason or another. The mall entrance into the pharmacy was even blocked off. At 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon? Looks like they had some drama. I asked the security guard leaning against the wall what was happening. He didn’t know.

I took the elevator upstairs. There was DC doing his business and I went to the back and there were the guys ready to leave. They had some empties for me but they said they had to fend off Fran but they were kind of joking around about it. I got Greg to give me my paycheque and, wow, all my bonus money was on my cheque. Audrey’s here I come.

I was happy feeling alright the promise of a nice Saturday relaxing by myself etc. Again we were doing CWF and I was struggling. So were others but at least they were getting sales. The whole room was doing CWF. Finally at about 6:30pm I got 1 sale for $20. This had to be about the worst day I ever had. So much so that at break Brendin had to let me go. Not as being fired or anything. I don’t know I’m really having trouble with this campaign. Even the new people were beating me sales wise as I was collecting the empties. Most people were about $100-150. What am I saying wrong? Greg and I are going to go over this tomorrow and listen to some calls and maybe something will resonate with me.

Anyway I went over to Audrey’s and got the Jim Butcher Dresden files book 1 and I cashed in my club dollars for being an Audrey’s book club member and I paid for the Dresden book first to get me over and then I paid for the Dragonlance book. Total was $22.80, The Dragonlance book (omnibus) was $32.95 and the Dresden book was $9.99. Total to me including gst would have been $45.87. I saved $23. Not bad.

I had a brief wait for my #5 that took me to my bank and I did my banking and caught the train to Clairview, wondering if it would be such a good idea to tell Anne I got sent home early for my low total. When I got home I did my admin and other things and Anne came home about 10pm. She decided to order Chinese food from Smilies and it was really good. I decided to be honest with her and let her know. She wasn’t upset with it because I’d already put in 5 days and my next cheque will be 21.5 hours.

Since I haven't been mentioning stats lately, I thought I'd share some of my sites stats. Looks like more people visit here on Saturdays then at any other time of the week:
centerI had fun with Smackdown and ECW and took a sleeping pill. We had a little bit of a hiccup/fight over something stupid and went to bed with it un resolved. I got up this afternoon with Anne gone with the bus pass. She’s been out since noon doing her shopping and stuff. So she better be back soon if she wants to make us supper before she heads on off to work. She’s working from 5-12.

About an hour ago I went across the street over to Superstore and got myself a 6/49 ticket after all. I picked my numbers 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 41 and the extra and headed home working up a bit of a sweat. Superstore was busy on a typical Saturday.

Tonight, I’m taking it easy since there’s no hockey or football.

Anyway gang, that’s all for now

e. Jim
