Yesterday I got into the office and

got all my empties and my #15. Tuesday was the day I was going to get some CC sales. I had a slow start then I was at $180 by 6:15pm. I was kind of put off because apparently me and Peter got each docked 15 minutes for pause times. I got a $200 sale and no CC sales by break I was at $500 as I had a $20 sale. At break I got all the remaining empties and had a decent 2nd half getting line hour but no cards. Super (we hope) fixed up our pause time mix up when we left. I had a brief wait for the train and in by about 9:45pm. Anne was cleaning up.

I did some computer stuff and I got a confirmation from Donna about the photos I emailed her and she received them thanking me. Good stuff.

Anne made us our Sunday breakfast and we watched the news. Anne’s watching the memorial of Michael Jackson. I posted some more photos on my Blogger blog………….12:55pm> Oil climbed up to 70 but fell dramatically over the last 2 weeks now sitting at $60/barrel. Dan from the Lodge thinks the new low will be $50. He could be right and at the way oil is dropping we could see $50 oil by the end of this month. Still, building permits here in Edmonton are at an all time high. Housing is progressing smoothly. I think the unemployment figures here in Edmonton last month were sitting at 6.6. I predict that will drop to about 4% by the Spring of 2010.

We still haven’t got our GST cheques in. Anne thinks by Friday. That be the case, I’m taking $10 plus my $20 plus what I have on hand and I’ll have enough to get one of the Omnibus books at Audrey’s. I’ll have that stack of books reduced down to zero by the end f labor day. As for later, I’m off to the job thing for my 4 hours and I got 2 more nights after this and I’m off for Saturday. I bought a 6/49 ticket for tonight’s $14M. Its fun to play even if I don’t win.

I’m really struggling to get through the last 100 pages or so of “In Conquest born.” it’s not that it’s a bad book or anything, it’s just there’s other things going on. I hope to finish this thing by the weekend and move on to the sequel.

SF Signal is taking on a Stargate 1 watch-a-thon. The episode SF Signal is viewing is “Nox” from Season #1 episode 8. From what little I saw of Stargate SG 1 I liked. The whole cost of this DVD set is about $160 for 215 episodes is pretty good. Then you have “The ark of truth” and “Atlantis” series in there as well. And if that’s not enough, according to i09 there’s the new “Stargate Universe” coming out soon. I’m looking forward to seeing this.

Our big rainfall over the past few days has netted us here at least in the North East end of Edmonton about 30mm. Hopefully we’ll get a lot more but we need some good hot days as well. Nothing better then out on the balcony with a glass of cold beer reading a book on a hot summer’s day.

There’s lots of buzz about George Lucas and the upcoming live action Star Wars TV series. Stargate Universe, Star Wars, now if only there could be another new Star Trek series. I’ve been hearing rumblings over the past several years of a new Trek series most likely you have as well. I still have yet to see the whole new Trek movie and I want to see it before it leaves the theaters. Then again there’s the New “GI Joe” movie I want to see as well. Placing hands side by side, books-sci-fi movies. Hands go up hands go down. So much to do so little time.

Tonight it’s back into work for my 4 hours. My sister in law received the email photos of our trip to Jasper Sunday yesterday. She sent me a nice confirmation thank you reply. Yesterday at work was good.

Anyway gang, that’s about all for now………..
