A bit of an outing today.

It was a nice wait for the bus out there at noon. I got to my train about 12:30pm at Clairview and I bought a bottle of pop and cracked open my book “The Wilding” until the train came. I read as much as I wanted to and was prepared to put the book away for this session only I couldn’t find my case for my reading glasses. Then I realized I had left it behind on the seat at Clairview. I got off at Corona station and walked over to 112th st. I didn’t have far to go and it was hot and sunny out there. Beautiful, but those 2 blocks made me sweat like a pig.

I found CRHC and the lineup wasn’t bad. Case workers were calling peoples names and the line was moving at a brisk paced even though I read my book anyway. They had 4 reception booths on either side taking-next! The clerk said my papers were signed for the right program and they’d contact us by mail. When I don’t know hopefully within the next 4-6 weeks or there abouts. I was more closer to Stony Plain Road then jasper so I walked up towards SPR and walked a bit to a bus stop and cracked open my book to read. Three buses went by and at 1:45pm I was thinking I might have to walk back down to Jasper Ave and the way I came. So I prepared to walk a bit more East and there was another bus. I got the stop right across the street from Grant MacEwan College (GMC) This was a number #2 bus and I decided to get off at Corona and I took the train back to Clairview station and I was home about 2:45pm. Next time we have to go down there we should take the train to Corona and then the #2 bus across the street and get off on 112th street and walk down. At lest the process is started. If we get rental subsidy then at least we can breath easier.

I probably could have gone into work this evening but Anne used the bus pass for her job. I’ll go into work tomorrow for 1:30pm. I hope I can follow through on this. And if Thursday works out good, I’ll go Friday afternoon as well. In theory.

Anyway gang, that‘s all for now.
