I think that was a record

reading session for me yesterday. I read 40 pages in one session of "The Wilding."

Today I'm going into the job at my usual Sunday time at 1pm for my 2-6pm shift. I like the Sunday shift because I get a chance to read in between calls. Management is getting so strict now during night shifts, we can't even read at our stations anymore between calls. Yet we can watch TV. I don't get that one. I think this is to get us ready for a "state visit" by the big boss supposedly to visit our office this week, however the Sunday shift is a more laid back shift.

Anne was talking about going back to our Saturday night Eastglen indoor pool arrangement again. We used to go to this indoor, steam-room/hot tub/pool for their late night adult swim when she had her car. That would have been 2002 when she lost the car. Admission prices have doubled since then from $4-$8/person.

Saturday was a pretty good day. I watched some Golf, read a lot and latter on I even played some Oblivion. We were without AA batteries for some months and Anne bought me a 48 pack from Giant Tiger earlier. Actually I was stuck  in Oblivion for awhile with one of the Fighter's Guild quests. My character had to go into "Norbert Lelles" shop in Anvil to rid his shoppe of a group of ruffians. I tried many ways to accomplish this but failed. Then I realized an old trick to get rid of difficult adversaries out side of towns: Let the Constabulary do it for you. Mind you, your character doesn't get the experience points to level up but you get the Quest results accomplished for you and you can loot the bodies latter. I got some nice items and a completed quest accomplished for my efforts.

The only thing that was left untouched this weekend so far was the story. So far, I still have latter tonight to get some of that accomplished.

Oh, incidentally over there at Coast the topic underway now as of this posting is Universe and Consciousness, that works. I like shows like this.

Over there at i09, they ask the question  Could A Space Elevator Save The Planet?  well, I've always thought so. It's an interesting article. But this contraption wont be up and running in my lifetime.

Sigh, I didn't win Saturday nights big 6/49 $16M jackpot. I didn't even get 1 number. There were 2 winners. One 2nd place winner took in $480K. So, there were several very happy people someplace here in the country.

Another thing I'm going to do today in the office is gather a few of my cheque stubs and photo copy them for bm and create a time line. I'm determined to go into the office at least one of these afternoons this week so I can sit down and talk with him so we can sort this vacation pay stuff out once and for all. They ow me a good chunk of change and with that I can get hired onto a guard company and use some of that for my guards license and if I can get the license then get the Iphone and a netbook. Also, I'll need a garment bag (if I get the license/job) so I can leave it at our office help desk (security) and then (hopefully) take my uniform to work and change before shift. It's not that I don't want to wear a security guards uniform to my call center job, I just don't want anyone to know I have another job on the side. Even if it's just for a few days during the week. A second job will give me some security in case management decides to terminate me for what ever reason or another.

Anyway gang, that's about all for now.
