It's been one of those days |
|
A little problematic preparing to go into work this afternoon as we had Boots in the office overnight and with the office door not able to lock properly. I did manage to get the office door to close with Anne’s makeshift rope system. The bus came immediately and I got to Clairview station. It was busy and I had a long wait for the train and that put me off even though I was able to read for awhile. Not just that but the train stopped a few times for about 5 minutes at each stop and it had 2 cars with a lot of people because of the Fringe.
I had a brief wait until somebody showed up and then JT showed up and finally Greg showed with Danny. We had 4 of us tap shooters doing taps and 2 others showed up in the back twenty. I managed to bring my cheque stubs and made some photo copies so I can show bm. Apparently some of the big bosses are here over the next few days. There were very few empties as it seems there were not a whole lot of staff there Saturday. Super showed up for a brief cameo as well. I got 2 cards and almost a 3rd card but the card was invalid. I even realized I had forgot my “Star Wars” book still in my bag from Friday night.
I felt kind of lousy heading towards Corona station and I had a long wait for my train and again only 2 cars and the train stopped for about 10 minutes in the tunnel packed with people and I had an end seat with people boarding and jostling me as I read. I was not a happy camper. Mostly I was miffed over my vacation pay realizing that payroll owes me $725 from last year and this year. Now I’ve got to go to bm after the big bosses leave and sit down and talk with him about calling payroll this week to convince them to pay me what they owe me or I go across the street to the labor board and file a complaint. I’m determined to get that money back.
Other then that not much going on. Anne’s out and about doing some shopping and I’m about to read more from “The Wilding.”
Anyway gang, that’s about all for now.
