glad that's over with.

Ok I get up this morning and I'm trying to enjoy the cooler morning air and I get this sound of a compressor somewhere nearby. I'm getting my cheque and all my things and I'm out the door and across the street at Burger king the City has a backhoe tearing up the payment. Hence the source of the compressor earlier.

I'm having a good ol time reading from "The Space Wolf" on the train and I disembark at Central to take the stairs to ground level and I'm inside my bank. They've got some ICBC branch envelopes from across the street. What the heck? I do my banking and I'm thinking breakfast across the street at Tim's. I get there and I find a line of sorts of people. "Next!" I leave the being at the top of the line and thinking this is the source of the "Next" only to find it's the pick up window. Meanwhile a dozen people have taken my place and I'm not going to get back in line wait another ten minutes when I'm pushing it for time 4 blocks from the office. So much for that. I was really pissed off with this to. I'm heading West on Jasper to the office and I almost get hit in the crosswalk by a senior. Finally I'm in the office and I take one of the back seats have a sandwich and take my insulin. JT joins me. Like old times. At noon I pay JT and he gets me a coffee and we have a short shift but I did really well the first half and in the 2nd I slowed right down. No credit card sales at all. I was glad to get out of there.

I got a small collection of cans and empties and I was glad to get out of the office andout into the beautiful warm autumn air. It's clear and sunny and +27C. How great is that for almost the middle of September? I went to get my book over at Audrey's New Jedi order "Force Heretic 2." I have 4 more in the series (so far) and I'm caught up. This makes 6 books left behind the special order counter for me. I have 4 of these Star Wars books and the 2 Dresdin files and .88 cents added to make $17.74 added to my book club membership.

Finally I'm on my way home and a bit of a wait and reading "The Space Wolf." The the train arrives and its waiting like 2 minutes at each stop. At last we're out of the tunnel. The train speeds up a bit more after that It's 3pm and I'm at Clairview and my bus is there. I'm getting out of the bus just out here at the set of lights and there's Anne flagging me down coming from the Superstore area. Small talk is exchanged and she needs the cash from my bus  pass holder and she's off. Fourty five minutes later shes back and gives me a couple of entre's to pick from for latter. Now she's off to work for her 5-12 shift. 

At last I have a night to myself, sweet. At 5pm I'm going to watch WWE Vintage and then maybe have a nap. There's no CFL football that I know of but I think there's an NFL game on. Later I'm going to check my lotto numbers. I'll be reading some more trying to finish the first book in "The Space Wolf" omnibus. I'll be answering email and listening to YouTube.

It's been that kind of a day
