I'm all over the place today with this post |

Friday/Saturday morning I got very little sleep. I think I got all of maybe 40 minutes. Since I couldn’t sleep anyway I got up to do some other things. I went into work feeling ok and I managed to get myself a Tim’s breakfast I and held up until about 1:30pm but I was feeling exhausted. It showed to because I got such a low total and no cards. I got about $85 in sales.
I got my empties and headed over to Audrey’s and I bought something else other then my special order. I was looking at getting Brent Weeks and the Night angel trilogy. Something about the cover suggested urban fantasy so I picked up instead Jenn Rhoades “Four Forges” book #1. I think this is YA but I’m not sure. I cant find anything yet about it at Amazon. Good thing I didn’t get the Brent Weeks because according to Fantastic fiction the Night Angel trilogy is coming out this year in Omnibus format. When it’s available I’ll place an order.
I got home and Anne was ready to head out. I snoozed a bit on the couch and when she came home to make lunch to leave I had a nap in bed for an hour and watched the 2nd quarter of the Argos/BC game. I passed out missing the 3rd quarter and it was close. 17/23. Argos had the game but turned it over just at the goal line. Lions coach Wally Buono has the most wins then any other coach in CFL history, Got to give it up for him.

Anne made some great fish and chips for lunch and I began watching this terrific 1950’s movie “Man from Planet X.” I really enjoyed this movie. It’s one of my favorite 1950 science fiction films. The host said that the producer made the movie in 6 days. The set required so much smoke (fog) the actors in some cases were coughing in some scenes. On a scale from 1-5, I’d rate this film a 3.5. I liked it in many ways, the location on the Moors even though the scene took place on an island. I liked the characters and the space alien wasn’t a “Spielberg,”
My 6/49 ticket produced 2 matches with no bonus number this time. However someone ended up winning $20.4M. That 1 ticket could have been 1 owner or half a dozen, hard to tell right now.
I had to email Kelly about being absent today. He summoned his possible Lodge officers for a meeting for this afternoon but my diabetes costing me lack of sleep did me in over night so I have to opt out from the meeting today.
Anne suggested a sleeping pill but she said these things keep you groggy for a couple of days and are addictive. I’m so exhausted from lack of sleep I think I’m going to have no trouble sleeping over night
Saturday nights Coast shows have been really "soft" lately. For instance the host's topic tonight is "surviving extreme conditions." Uggh. Sunday nights show is with George Knapee and George is a "UFO guy." They need to have Ian on Sunday's and George on Saturday's. Knappee's shows are far more entertaining then Ian's. Ian's shows put me to sleep. That's why I need to be able to record a decent show during the week so we can have it for Saturday night. With Viigo I can record Coast and then air it over the speaker from the cell phone.
And finally SF Signal has in today's post titled 80 Recently free SFF/H stories. Wow. A lot of these are audio format.
Anyway gang, that’s about all for now
