Yesterday had it all |

On my 6/49 ticket I got 2 numbers and 2 digits away on 2 numbers that would have got me 4/6. That would have got me about $70, lol!
No doubt you have noticed my new public service announcement in big red lettering about Greenpeace Canada. If you donate to Greenpeace Canada you do not get a tax receipt. Greenpeace tax status was overturned in 1999 by the Federal Government. That’s the message I want to convey here. My response is in reaction to the numerous amount of Greenpeace mischief makers “protesting” our Alberta oil sand developments on location. Eleven more of these “protesters” invaded the Suncor site Wednesday (in addition to the 21 others) by grandstanding on private property. I’ve got to ask myself where is security at these mines? Why aren’t these eco terrorists removed from the property? If anyone can just walk into these mines then why not Taliban nutcases or any other eco-terrorist groups like Greenpeace Canada? So I’m striking back. This is my site and I can say what I want. It’s still is a free country. I’m sick and tired of these Greenpeace eco terrorists running all over our local oil industry and I wish the RCMP would seriously charge these terrorists more then just mischief charges. But mischief carries a criminal record. Apparently Suncor is not charging these terrorists just yet. “We want to be nice guys to these activists.” Fuck the damn eco terrorists because that’s just what these Greenpeace terrorists are. What’s next with these scum set a bomb? No doubt just to martyr themselves at our expense. I’ve got a funny feeling that’s what’s coming next. But as soon as it gets about -16C out there you bet these Greenpeace eco terrorists will be less active if at all when the cold weather flies. This whole “climate change” issue is mostly political anyway. When are people going to wake up that the “dirty oil” campaign is being bought and paid for by US eco friendly lobbyists and possibly the money trail can go back to Al Gore himself. Notice how quiet he’s been lately.
Ok now that I’ve got that out of my system (for now) lets get back to what was Saturday. I got out of here with about 5 minutes to wait and got my bus under really foggy conditions to Clairview and read on the way to work. I brought my insulin with me and other things and bought my breakfast using the bank card. I got my end dialer and got my first sale half an hour into the shift then the computers crashed we got moved over to the other side I had a slow start and by break I got 2 sales and one was a $25 card. That was saving my ass. I got a chance to watch most of the Montreal/Argo game. In the 2nd half I did a bit better and I got a $100 card so that’s $125 in cards and I got a $5 bonus. I was in the middle of the pack total wise and I think I did pretty good all things considering. I ended up with $225 and 2 cards. A good shift. Also I got the empties as well. I would have had a $10 bonus but I didn’t reach line hour.
After that I headed out to Audrey’s and I got 2 Star Wars Jedi books and with that I was able to cash in and I got the 2 Night angel trilogies and the 3rd one I paid for. So I got 5 books for the price of 3. And I got a whole trilogy out of it too boot, good deal. I know there is an Omnibus book of all three coming out sometime this year. I had a chat with the staff there as well and headed home.
I called Anne from a payphone at Clairview and she was all crying thinking because the rotten way she was treating me lately that I had gone up and walked out on her. I calmed her down saying that I was on my way home I had a nap to get after supper and the Oiler game to watch.
I had a hour sleep and watched the Oiler’s pre game show. Wow. They had Cirque Eloize complete with bag pipes electric guitars drums and pipes and a woman with a viola dangling above ice, wow. What an awesome pre game show.
However Nikolai Khabibulin or Nik let in a soft goals on a Flames power play. 1-0. Then Penner tied. Then another Flames power play and another goal. Thanks for nothing Nik. Then another Flames power play. I’m thinking Oh my God is this the same goaltender that brought the Hawks to the semi finales in June? Then Brule got a goal and Ganger tied it. The crowd at Rexall was going nuts. It was about 50 seconds left in the 3rd and it looked like we were going to go to OT for at least a point. Out comes Nik to handle and clear the puck, then the Flames come along as Nik mishandles the puck and with 50 seconds left slams the puck into an open net. 4-3 Flames just like that. What a heart breaker for the Oiler’s. I’m sure that Nik wont have another game like that and that game was seeing him at his worst. Next up is Dallas here on Tuesday. What a letdown. The Eskimos lose and now the Oiler’s.
For the negative side of things, this weekend I didn’t get the VP I wanted. The Esks lost and now last night so did the Oilers. Also I’m not going to Pure Spec this weekend with my teeth. By this time next year I’m going to go to Pure Spec with new teeth. That’s for sure.
Other then the Oiler’s loss this weekend is turning out to be nice and relaxing. I might post again later today.
Anyway gang, that’s about all for now
