We're slowly getting over losing Pledges |
|
I had an entry ready to go and all yesterday but got a little tied up what with not getting any sleep. Yesterday came and by so fast.
Work went well. I got some more Halls cough drops to sooth my throat. It’s still scratchy but the cough drops helped a lot
I’ve got about 80 pages left remaining in the book I’m reading “The Space Wolf” Omnibus. It’s going well.
Anne and I are almost over losing Pledges. She discovered that we can’t keep Boot’s because she found blood in his poop. Not good. She’s going to monitor it over the next while but things don’t look good for fixing him up. So we’re down to 3 cats. This little guy won’t replace Pledges, no one cat can, but he seems to take a liking to this spot near the Pledge pillow. Since Pledges died last Friday none of the cats have claimed the sacred spot as their own.
Tomorrow night is the Red Wings/Oilers game. Hopefully the Oilers (6-5-1) can win a game at home. Then Friday is Argos at Eskimo’s CFL Football game. Saturday Halloween night the Oiler’s play host to Boston (5-4-1) That night we set the clocks back an hour as we prepare to go into Daylight savings time. Then we Spring ahead March 7th 2010. So we’re into “4 months of darkness.” We don’t see any real benefit until about mid April. Plus I’m working a full 7.5 hours on Saturday. We get a half hour break in which I can swing over to Audrey’s and pick up a book. Football, Hockey, extra hours, Halloween, set our clocks back, there’s a lot going on this weekend.
Anyway gang, that’s about all for now
