It's another big assed Saturday! |
|
Last night I was able to snag my old dialer #13 and ended up with about 5 cards including 1 that I bumped from $50-$100! I ended up with a $20 bonus on my next paycheck. So I ended up with $225 on cards in a $475 total for a beat up list on a Friday night, not bad.
I got my paycheck and everything was ok and except the SJ/Oiler game wasn’t looking good for the copper and blue. And then I find out Hemsky’s gone for the season. This really sucks. I did my banking and hopped on my train for home. I met Anne coming off the train at Clairview and she rode back with me to the apartment. After she left to do some shopping I checked the game and wow the Oiler’s had a 3-2 lead. I was able to watch most of the 3rd period as it ended in a 4-4 shootout with the Sharks wining 5-4.
I’m watching Ryan Putulny who scored 2 goals in last night’s effort and has scored 5 in 4 games.
Ann brought us home a large delie pizza, which was pretty good. We watched the last of Smackdown and ECW. After that I went to bed and slept pretty well until I woke up with back pain about 3:15am.
Last night Art Bell was pulling in duty hosting the show as they were talking about an e-bomb. I listened for a bit but I needed sleep as I’m in for a long day today.
I mentioned to Anne if we could do the Saw Mill thing next Sunday because that’s when our anniversary is really on. She agreed that it made more sense.
It means I can watch the Grey Cup game. I’d rather go for our anniversary dinner actually on the day then a week before or after.
Having that out of the way, today it’s work from 10-4:30pm. So I get 6 hours. This means I’ll have a decent paycheck again for next week. We’ve got a lot going on for December. First theirs our Lodge installation, I’m installing our organist and he’s installing me as JS. Then we’ve got our wedding anniversary dinner that weekend, we’re going to look at getting Boots fixed up and there’s a good chance I’ll be getting a laptop with Windows 7. I’ve got 2 large bills to pay, my Lodge dues and website fees. Then there’s the office staff party. I’m going to that of course, then we have Christmas including 3 days off! Then New Years.
Oh and finally, on the train heading into work passing by the Hotel the building beside the hotel is indeed a Swiss Chalet. They've got their familar red sign on the back to confirm it. They make great fries and also serve up burgers. Anyway, that’s all for today.
