Hard to believe November is almost over with

Amazing! It was 25-28 Saskatchewan in Calgary with 10 seconds on the clock 2nd down but not within field goal range. The Riders were called a too many men on the field penalty, which brought Montreal a few more seconds to get another 1st down. They get within field goal range and its good, it was all over for Saskatchewan. 28-25. What a finish! I’m kind of glad it worked out that way. The Alouette’s played comeback for the first half. It’s only fitting that the team with the best CFL regular season record should win. But what a heart breaker for Saskatchewan. The screwed up and it cost them the Grey Cup.

Anne made us our usual breakfast/brunch while we were watching the game unfold. At the half they had “Blue Rodeo” playing 3 songs. I really enjoyed this, the 97th Grey Cup game. Next year it’s going to be here in Edmonton. The season will begin July 1st while training camp is in June. I’d rather training camp in May. Ok, enough of football.

Before the game I really got into reading “Rainbows end.” it’s making more sense to me now. I’m going to post this and read more for the rest of the night.

Anne’s got an appointment with the bank on Tuesday. If all goes well, I’ll be getting my new laptop this week. I’m looking at getting it over at Best buy because we have a $50 credit on a gift card to get the router so we can hook up the wifi. I also want to get a keyboard skin and a monitor skin as well but that’s going to have to be latter.

I’ve narrowed down my laptop search to the Acer Aspire 15.6” Duo Core laptop with 3Gb Ram. It has Windows 7 with 802.11g wifi. It even has a 350Gb hard drive along with a web cam and Microsoft works. All it needs a D-link router, I can get for about $70 bucks and a USB router key for about $50. And I can get either or at Future Shop across the street. I’d like to get that set up before Christmas.

Tonight Ian has a great show lined up on Coast: 20 12 with Gregg Braden and Richard C. Hoagland. This will be a great show. It’s more of a George Noory show then an Ian type show.

I showed Anne the laptop I want and I'm calling Monday to see if it's in stock.  I'm off Thursday, so we're going to go to Best Buy and pick it up if its in stock. Anyway, that's all from me for today.
