Its one of those days....

I’m still working on my Saturday night here. I got into work alright riding in with one of the kids from the back 20. Us tap shooters took positions up in the back away from the main throng to do OTH again and Gerry must have reset the list twice. At break I went over to Audrey’s and got the 3rd book in the “Recluse” series. I did ok sales wise in the last half and Gerry did the big draw for the PS3. I didn’t win of course but one of the gals that has been with us for a long time won it as a Christmas gift for her son. Good stuff. Not that I wouldn’t enjoy the PS3 what with the built in Blue Ray player and all. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go buy a PS3 just yet until the price drops or a major upgrade happens.

I was exhausted on my way home pulling into the apartment about 5:30pm before I finally got comfortable. I had a brief nap in the bedroom with Boots until I heard him cry indicating Anne was home. She had to go back out for some things and I had a nap on the couch “watching” hockey. Before I knew it the Washington/Oiler’s game was in progress and the Oiler’s for the first 2 periods were leading 2-0. I had $2 riding on this game, Oiler’s to win. Then in the 3rd #8 O/V scored twice to tie and the Oiler’s got sloppy and let the game get away from them. The visitors won 4-2 in a game the Oiler’s should have had. With that they got what they deserved: Their 3rd straight loss at home.

One of my co workers like me owns the Xbox 360 and the other day was praising the virtues of Xbox Live. He said for $60/year it’s a good deal. He’s also a fan of “Oblivion” but way more hard core then me. He says Bethesda (the company that makes “Oblivion”/The Elder Scrolls) is in preparation to release “Elder scrolls 6.” Apparently this is not an expansion pack but a full game. Plus if that’s not enough, I haven’t even begun to reach Oblivion’s full game potential little alone the expansion packs on Xbox live as it is. Eventually in the New Year I’d like to get that Raw vs. Smackdown 2010 video game and another game controller. Anne’s not a hard core wrestling fan like me but she does like some of the characters, or rather tolerates me watching wrestling more like it. But she said she’d play the game with me.

Speaking about Xbox live it seems it has the capability to be able to mesh with my Windows live. This means that I might be migrating away from Gmail and use Hotmail. Nothing wrong with Gmail. Hotmail has a few more features then Gmail. Merging Windows live with my Xbox 360 etc makes sense to eventually switch over to Hotmail. Anyway, that’s enough from me for today. It’s been a long day and it’d ending on a sour note.
