I didn’t sleep very well overnight but I managed to pass out about 6am and slept from about 6am until shortly after 1pm.
Last night on the job we ended up doing OTH TD taps and the 2 low totals at 6:30pm got pulled, me and the new guy Mike sat beside me. Eventually after 7pm we all got to do cold. OTH cold wasn’t that kind to me even though I got 2 cards for a total of 3 on the night. Mike was just killing it, getting a couple of VIP’s $150 and each on a credit card. He did better on cold then I could. I got a paper ball thossed at me and that put me off balance for the whole night. Mike is a good Port Moody boy. Best I could do on the night was $75 but I got 3 cards. And I didn’t feel too bad because I know those nights are rare.
I met with some opposition over watching the Oiler game or Monday night Raw. The Oiler game won out but the Oiler’s even though got the first goal, again lost for their 7th straight to Calgary 4-1. At least that’s what one of the Oiler faithful said to me on the train on the way home. The Oiler’s are without a doubt the worst team in the league right now. I think they play again Thursday night. Lets see how low they can go. This reminds me of when they lost Ryan Smith in 2007 and the Oiler’s went through that slump.
I got home just in time to watch Monday night Raw and Vince made the announcement that Bret the "Hitman" Hart will be returning to the WWE to guest host next weeks, Monday night Raw. Most likely there will be an angle in there somehow. I think it will be something like Charlie “Hitman” Hoss or something like that. Whether Bret Hart will actually return is highly unlikely. Too much bad blood between Vince, Hart and HBK. Bret Hart hasn’t been around in a WWE ring in 12 years. I saw him here the year before the “Montreal screw job” at the Agracom during the “Hart Attack” tour. I got the shirt still in good condition I wear it every now and then.
I tried playing Oblivion on my Xbox 360 but the disc was unreadable due to some scratches but in over a year of owning this system I discovered through the dashboard, the free game demos I didn't knowwhere there. What I should have done when I bought Oblivion (used) is to download the game onto the hard drive. I’m not sure this can be done without a the Xbox router. Also, I checked out Future shop and they have Xbox live subscription cards for $60. You can download free game demos but I’m sure you need to hook up to Xbox Live via my existing Internet connection.
Other then the lousy night on the job last night and the Oiler’s loss I had a decent night. Despite my wife cursing and nagging at me while she was doing the laundry all night.
Also, I’ve been wanting to do some piano practicing but I need better headphones then the ones I’m currently using. These ones are basically crap. I’ve got these blue gummy ear bud headphones and they work like a charm. Anyway, that’s about all for now.
