I don't know what to |

Anne and I had a bit of a skirmish just before I left out the door. Laundry day always brings out the worst in her. I got up to the office as the shift was just winding down. I got my dialler #13 and had a decent shift doing Deaf Ice Hockey. It’s a short campaign lasting for about a week. We had small taps as well. During the break I ended up with the rest of the empties and worked out the last hour. They had Monday night Raw on all monitors. Next Monday I’m going to sit up there by Warren. I like to watch the 10pm show when I get home.
I sat with this Jamaican fellow who’s a student of the life and times of JFK. He says that JFK is one of “his enemies.” Oh please. But we had a nice discussion about the topic on the way home. I explained my theory he didn’t agree but that’s ok. Everyone has a right to their opinion.
At Clairview there were a bunch of kids at the top of the stairs. I got on the bus and there was a cat fight of teenage girls. Security came along and broke it up. I didn’t see much of it trying to mind my own business not looking for any trouble. I got home without any as well.
Anne and I talked about my weeks work schedule and Today I’m in at 5pm. Wednesday & Thursday its 1-9pm. Friday morning its 9-12:30pm unless I’m having an exceptional morning I’ll put in Friday afternoon. 32.5 hours. I’ll do the same for next week and the last week in January but in the first week in February its Monday 7.5, Tuesday 7.5 Wednesday 3.5 Thursday 3.5 Friday 3.5/3 Saturday 6 hours. Of course I’ll do the afternoon if I’m having a decent morning those three mornings
Anne kept me up until about 5am wanting to listen to Coast. It was an excellent show with research scientist Sean Carroll. They were talking about Cosmology, physics and the Big Bang. That sort of thing. Well worth staying up late for. I got about 7.5 hours so I can’t complain.
I’m onto my first coffee here for the day. Boots is sleeping soundly in the basket here beside me. I don’t want to wake the little guy. We had the window open all night for him because it’s so nice and mild out there.
So far I’m not enjoying this book at all. Most of the stories I’ve read sucked. I think this is a chucker. The stories are long as well. My first chucker of the year unfortunately. Usually short fiction is pretty good but uggh. Most of the people over there at Goodreads liked it. Maybe I just can’t get into it. I’ll continue to read it on my commute but that’s about it. I’m going to move up “Dust” in my reading queue and read SF 2006 a little each day. Anyway, that’s all for now.
