up here as I'd like to lately. My camera is getting old and it's time for a new one. I can download from my old computer of course but it's a slow beast that takes a good 15 minutes to gain complete access to my desktop. The older monitor is a glass monitor, which displays pictures better. So I'll compose here first and then post a photo next. Anne took a cute cat photo of Sporty & Silky on the table.
It's a cold late January Sunday night as I write this. Anne and I made a late brunch and I stumbled upon a Oil Kings game underway at Rexall Place. These are the juniors. The 16 year olds. The OK's as I'll call them, are down 2-1 playing against the Medicine Hat Tigers. I didn't think the major networks carried Canadian Hockey League games.
This photo I took of Pledges the day we had to have him put down. Five minutes after this photo was taken we were in a taxi on our way down to the animal clinic. We were home 3 hours later with a dead cat on my hands. I really miss Pledges. I wish I could have kept better care of him. He was probably in a lot of pain when I took this photo: Friday 4:27am October 23rd. He died a half hour later. I got out of bed on the late side of this afternoon: 1:30pm. I had no reason to go out anywhere all though I could have gone out to get my book at Audrey's what being so after that full 6 hours. I didn't go get my book yesterday after work. I had a run in with this real loud mouth you know what kind of a woman. I'm not good at dealing with difficult people especially after pulling in a full 6 hour Saturday shift.
I've only been up for about 6 hours now and already I've had a nice Sunday afternoon.
Coast had a really boring show last night: Depressed women. The best night of the week and this is the best Ian can do? Tonight's topic is a little better: Bigfoot and native American Culture. Sigh.
