It's getting a bit colder

lately and best we're going to do today is +1.

I'm working on my first coffee of the day and reading "City of Pearl" and bouncing back and fourth between that and email. I'm starting to like "pearl" as its kind of growing on me. If I were to rate the book right now, I'd give it a 6/10. The writing is very good.

Not much is going on today. I bought a 6/49 lottery ticket for the $22M for tonights draw. I'l check the winning numbers when I come home from work tonight.

Some of my friends on Goodreads; Greyweather is reading Buyout. It's a future dystopia novel about what might happen to society if we don't do something about climate change. I'll give it a pass, thanks. I haven't heard from Zach for awhile. Ken is currently reading "The City of Night" part of the "House of War" series by Michelle West. Audrey's can still ordre me all 6 of these if I want them as they are still in stock but I want to read a bit before I delve into the whole series. Barnes & Noble do not have "look inside" feature for this book and I don;t know if it's at the library.

Last nights Oiler/Sens game: Sigh, what can I say? I watched bits and pieces of the game from a distance and in between calls Jeff Deslauriers made some amazing saves but he got very little help from his D. I thought when I left the office the score was 2-0 Oiler's. Gerry and I had a $2 bet on the game. I lost the bet because the Oiler's ended up losing 4-1. I'm not going to go double or nothing Oiler's/Habs on Thursday that's for sure. Anyway, that's about all for now.
